This bit is interesting.

Folau has been linked with a possible return to the NRL next year, but Bulldogs chief executive Todd Greenberg said the club's recent splurge on retaining their current roster has made a successful bid for Folau doubtful.
"I've said consistently that I would love to see Israel playing rugby league again, I would obviously love to see him playing in the blue and white, but there has been no deal and no discussions had,'' Greenberg told us. "Given the difficulties of managing our long-term salary cap, it's unlikely.''

If that is true, all the speculation that has been made is a complete load of crap.

Good news if its true, no doubt there'll be articles saying that he has re signed with league before he commits to the Tahs

Hugh Roach has been listed as a bench player for the Force vs B&I Lions match.

It will be interesting to see how he goes "in the big league" if he gets some game time.

If he realises the potential that many see in him, then Tahs should begin immediate negotiations to get him on board for 2014.
Any idea about Damian Fitzpatrick's future? He is a great player and has had setbacks following a botched knee reconstruction. Apparently he is as fit as a trout now however has yet to play.

I'm only an armchair Lawyer, however if it's an agreement between two parties to exchange goods/services then a court might have a different opinion.

If they have no benefit/legal weight then I ask why have them?
That is the first step in getting the parties to acknowledge the basic terms and is usually followed up with a formal contract. These are put together so you can actually tell the lawyers what you want in a contract.

He's potentially on the bench for this Sunday's game (the Tahs named 10 people and haven't cut any yet to my knowledge).

He isn't signed anywhere for next year. Hopefully he plays out the rest of the Shute Shield season well and the Tahs gives him a contract for next year.

5 games in 3 yrs on full pay I presume.

If only he started a Uni degree 3 years ago, he'd be graduating now having been able to study more or less full time, on full pay. Brilliant.

Seriously though, he'd be hoping for an end to a horror run like that especially when a professional rugby players career is of very limited duration even when injury free.

I think he did.
