Quick Hands
David Wilson (68)
Couldn't help but notice that the famed Twickenham "respect the kicker" policy went out the window when Foley lined up the kick at 20-13.
Now if only I could fund a feed that has Lord Bald, Brian Moore and assorted other English pundits lined up in front of a trough of humble pie to watch.
The shape of the team is hugely different from last year.
He was good. I nearly gave him a point but settled on Giteau instead
But isn't the humble pie in the trough the feed? Fairly sure the RFU funded that enterprise.
The winner tops the pool. Not trying to win is analogous to putting up the white flag. You must know some different Welshmen from those I know.
The Boyos I know would never do anything but push for a win when they take the footy field, whatever level of footy they play.
Both Sio and Fardy where injuredLet's be real,Fardy & Sio were available.
Pocock,no,but using Pooper was considered to be highly controversial, with many more doubters than supporters.
If you were to say the squad has been strengthened by the inclusion of Douglas,Mumm & Gits,I would agree, but would add their inclusion was Cheika's doing, requiring him to manage up,and to not accept the status quo.
I think he also has some of the Reds players playing in much stronger form at the higher Test level, than they were performing at Super level earlier this year.
Sio was out too..Fardy was injured. Moore was injured (Hooper was Captain). Sio was available but too fresh, We had Carter instead of Douglas. McCalman instead of Pocock. Front row replacements no where near as good.

Phipps had some good play too. He just has a couple of unfortunate errors when he first came on. I don't think he was getting a lot of help from his runners who weren't clearly nominating.
England don't have a mortgage on that sort of behaviour. Bogan dickheads like that in nearly every rugby crowd, even here in God's Country.
Unsurprisingly the few commentors on the front page who were rubbishing Foley earlier in the week and calling for Cheika to resign if we lost haven't been sighted in the match review post by Brumby Jack.
Sio 12 caps since 2013Both Sio and Fardy where injured

Phipps threw some complete Howlers, If Horne goes home then Nick White may get a call up.
When I look at his face (Nick Phipps) I see a hyper active six year old with a blank stare when you try to talk him into calming down.
Injured last spring tour...Sio 12 caps since 2013
Fardy 25 caps since 2013
But if you can't see the improvement in the side, that's ok.
