@not in straight, if you are looking for NSW 2 footage, they usually sell DVDs of the games at Riverview. IIRC it is $20 per game.

If you can't get there to place an order, you can usually order the DVD from their web site. The company web site is usually named in the program. Some one who has a copy of the program from this year may be kind enough to post the web site details.

I will be there tomorrow, so will check it out

@HJ and @NIS, not that I wish to deprive those who thoroughly deserve a handy Redback ($20), why not go to:
schoolsrugby.com.au >
News (link) >
Live Streaming (the link about the 5th one down) >
Game 10 NSWII v Vic.

That should take you to the YouTube full replay of today's NSWII game. (At least it's working just fine for me now playing 'catch-up' at days' end!)

And then put that saved Redback into the housekeeping acct; on the Bar, or spot it towards 4x Iggies Steak sangas at tmrw's final Pool Matches. ;)

Or instead, just go straight to YouTube and do a Search for:

After the Ad at the top, the Match Replay of today's NSW2's game should be the first link down.

Div I Pool A
NSW I Won 2, Lost 0 4T BP 2, Loss <7 BP 0 - Pts 10
CS Won 1, Lost 1, 4TBP 2, Loss < 7 BP 1 - Pts 7
Qld II Won 1, Lost 1, 4TBP 1, Loss < 7 BP 0 - Pts 5
ACT Won 0, Lost 2, 4TBP 0, Loss < 7 BP 1 - Pts 1

Div I Pool B
NSW II Won 2, Lost 0 4T BP 1, Loss <7 BP 0 - Pts 9
Vic Won 1, Lost 1 4T BP 1, Loss <7 BP 1 - Pts 6
Qld I Won 1 Lost 1, 4T BP 1, Loss <7 BP 0 - Pts 5
WA Won 0, Lost 2, 4TBP 1, Loss < 7 BP 0 - Pts 1

Tomorrow's Predictions
Div I Pool A
Game 14: CS v ACT. ACT win with no 4TBP, CS get loss <7 BP
Game 16: NSW I v Qld II. NSW I win with 4t BP. Q2 get 4t BP and loss < 7 BP

Final Pool A Predicted Ladder
N1 15 pts
CS 7 pts
Q2 7 pts but 3rd on countback
ACT 5 pts

Div I Pool B
Game 12: Vic v WA. Vic win with 4t BP. WA get 0 BP.
Game 15: Qld I v NSW II. Q1 win without 4TBP, N2 lose by <7.

Final Pool B Predicted Ladder
Vic 11 pts
N2 10 pts
Q1 9 pts
WA 1 pts

So Final games could be:
NSW I v Vic
CS v NSW II
Qld I v Qld II
ACT v WA

For a team that has played at a very high standard and nearly defeated the odds on favourite team on Day 1, it somehow doesn't seem right that the ACT will most likely be in the playoff for 7th/8th, regardless of the outcome of tomorrows game. Tournament play can be cruel, and games are not over until the obese sheila sings.

Wonderful update @HJ, especially as I was just trying to figure out how the Pools Tables looked. Only Nostradumus beats your prescience!

I'll challenge you on a couple of results though.

In Pool A, CS to pip ACT. No change to final Pool posi's.

In Pool B, NSW2 to squeak out a win to 'flip' final Ladder posi's with Vic.

So my Finals on Saturday should be:
Championship: NSW1 v NSW2
Plate: CS v Vic
Bowl: QLD2 v QLD1
Shield: ACT v WA

And for those Brumbies denied by NSW1 on the bell in Match 1, but certainly not outplayed, the Tourny format is indeed "cruel". So warble on les corpulent one!

Thank goodness it's only 'just' a game. ;)

NSW have some finishers on the wing.

Rixon with 3 and a obvious standout player in the NSW seconds.

Jaffer-Williams with 3 showing his obvious class.

Mohi with 4.

It's a shame it's not a dry track today for those three boys to show their stuff.

Halfway through the tournament, does anyone want to have a crack at naming a potential Aus and Aus A squad?

3,8 & 14 the only certainties. There are big raps on Malala QLD 1 for a wing spot

If you watch sidesteppas video above and rank the wingers as the selectors do. Mohi would be ahead of Jaffer-Williams after yesterday's game.

Jaffer would have been ahead of Mohi from Monday's game though.

So if the QLD winger is their opposition(after watching him play, I don't think he is) those two boys are fighting between each other for a wing spot. No one is a certainty, I just made a team based on rankings from the games on Monday and the footage I watched on Wednesday.

Also Rixon is outstanding and may push either player out of their wing position for schoolboys selection as well.

I think Rixon has been consistently performing and competing with Mohi and Jaffer-Williams and shown more on the field to get ranked higher this week. He would likely be ranked 1 or 2 after each of his games this week. Watching the games, Jaffer was strong on Monday but would not be ranked as highly in yesterday's games. he needs to be given a full game on the wing so he can show his abilities. Ikatau Will likely be there, so those 3 players are competing for the second wing spot.

On the centres, I don't think the ACT 12 (Pulefale) and 13 offer enough in terms of ball playing to have them both in the centres, Pulefale will likely be nominated due to incumbency. Fenn would likely be at 6 with the Victoria 8 at number 8. He has been dominant in each game so far. Only a small change but I think shows the cattle of back rowers coming through is quite strong.

Except for Helu, Fenn and Pietsch the NSW 1's forwards have not been physical enough, I would not like the chances of an AUS team that had more then those 3 in the forward pack against a powerhouse Nz outfit that would be far more physical than they have played against.

This is where the second row offers a significant conundrum, there hasn't been a standout 2nd rower. A pivotal position if AUS is any chance against NZ.

Using the somewhat questionable rule of incumbency, there aren't too many players from 2015 ASRU teams returning this year, and all of those doing so were 2015 Barbarians. They are:

L.Ikatau, Qld, Wing
O. Helu, NSW, THP
R. Lonergan, ACT, halfback
S. Pulefale, ACT, inside back

The incumbents are "known" to the ASRU selectors, and unless there is a stellar performance from a newbie, provided they remain injury free, they tend to be reselected. Factor in the old Tin Foil Hat view of selectors favoring those from their jurisdiction and the incumbent ACT players will fancy their chances of 2016 selection into Schoolboys, or Barbarians.

Oh, a Brumbies development contract and a season in the Curtain Raiser Cup for the ACT U20 's will also help the Selectors select for one of the ACT players.

Agree with everything above. I think the centre pairing of NSW 1 Wilkinson and Terry will showcase their combination, and talent in the coming days, which will eventually lead to high selection
