I think you will find that this direction is coming from governing Board itself. There is no doubt a view that BBC has focused too much on sport and not enough on other areas (eg religious based scholarships) and that I suspect when the Head was appointed he was given direction to reduce the...
GO Man here it is
1. TSS (too big too strong and too much depth)
2. NC (just know how to win)
3. BBC (injury curse has hit again with key player out for season, nos. 10 in serious doubt for opener and centre glandular- 3rd would be a good result - depth in backs has already been...
I find the level of expertise and understanding of schoolboy sport espoused by some parents/posters also very humorous.
I can only assume that these are ex-wallaby's or are level 3 coaches that have experience at the highest/elite level of the sport.
Country Jack ,
Why no Jesse Grey ?
Why no Jock Thompson ?
Why no Wilson Blyth ?
Just a couple of names mentioned!!
the issue no one wants to talk about in nomination led , affirmative action "quota ''ing" that has led to about 15% to 20% of it being a right old laugh
From an earlier...
Well you talk about quota systems and 'nomination led' selection as if they were fact.
You talk about the top 4 GPS teams as if there was an official ranking system. There is only one such policy in GPS sport and that exist in cricket and it is in relation to a GPS representative team based on...
GO can you point to the 'official rankings of schoolboy rugby players'?
Could you also point me to the document which outlines that the top 3 or 4 ranked schools get x number of players in the squads etc..... In fact please point me to the rankings of GPS teams for 2018!!
Also could you...
I wouldn't be breaking out the champers down on Miskin just yet. 2014 is a long time ago and BBC still haven't won the DIV 1 Lotto prize and 2018 will be another div 3 or 4 result!!
Backs are strong - with 10 and the back 3 the stand outs. Forwards are small from front row to back row, they...
Ok -I will tell my nephew you don't rate them.
Sorry CJ was responding to you inferring that the S&C team were instrumental in BBC winning the T&F. Wasn't arguing against your nephew liking the program.
BTW the S&C team has nothing to do with the boy that started at the school in grade 11 and last year won 6 events nor do they coach some of the other top athletes that won multiple events. In the main they are coach outside of the school so not sure your point is valid on this front.
There are cultural issues in every school. Some handle it well, some handle it poorly and others dont handle it at all. Not quite sure the S&C program will continue to be a success with Steve Nance also moving on. Kefu was part time at best, Emtage will have his hands full in the new role and I...
Undefeated in 13's, won in 14's but lost a game to GT, lost to NC in 15's and whilst they lost 3 in 16's still came 3rd overall and considering the talent they lost to the 1st XV it wasn't a bad effort.
