Yeah I have an inkling that his attitude issues could have contributed to this... Someone with his natural talent, as well as making GPS teams last year can't just drop out of the system that quickly can they?

How long are Tanuvasa and Oppenheimer out?

That's not good to hear, but I don't think it's fair that you make a generalisation of that proportion against how all "TSS boys carry themselves", based purely on one Third XV game. Nonetheless, inexcusable behaviour - but this thread hasn't been created for us to talk about the behaviour of...

I didn't mean for this to look like such an excuse, it has admittedly been a disappointing start to the GPS season for the boys in the Red, White and Blue.

When in Rome... But in all seriousness, the depth of talent TSS has lost in the past few years to other GPS schools in rugby and cricket is frustrating. Fortunately, there is less competition on the coast compared to in Brisbane to get students outside the GPS system.

    QLD GPS Rugby 2012

Hmm not sure whether you're serious here but I think you'll find that Churchie and Ippy will finish in the top half.

    QLD GPS Rugby 2012

Do you mean in terms of further player recruitment? Because if so, I don't think the quality of the players is the direct problem...

Watching the game against State High the BGS 9 seemed indecisive, and some of his service to Greene was fairly poor, but he grew into the role better in the second half, probably after overcoming some nerves. Good to hear he played well yesterday. How did he compare to his opposite, more...

    QLD GPS Rugby 2012

Agreed - what were your thoughts on the players outside of him? Seeing as he will undoubtedly draw multiple defenders.

    QLD GPS Rugby 2012

I can confirm that TSS played their full firsts yesterday barring Fielea and the injured Guttenbiel. Papworth moved to the second row to accommodate young Brown at 7, which is a good idea methinks. Not sure of the final score but I've heard that Gibson (12) played well, as a distributing 12...

Yes indeed, I think that it is for me and predictions - I'll stick to reports and observations now... :p

    QLD GPS Rugby 2012

Well unless BBC is particularly poor in the lower age groups, it's good to see for State High's sake that there is some good potential for the future.

    QLD GPS Rugby 2012

They already have. I think with their first two results, the rest of their wins wouldn't exactly be regarded as huge 'upsets'.
  17. GlobeTrotter

    QLD GPS Rugby 2012

Unfortunately looks like it's going to be a long season for State High

Swarley I'm not going to go through all of the biased/incorrect predictions you have ever made on this forum but I think this attack is a bit unfair. Sure, enjoy your success as a Grammar supporter, and yes, I do think they are looking very good this season - let's not get ahead of ourselves...

    QLD GPS Rugby 2012

I am by no means a Churchie supporter, but I can't help but to feel disappointed for them. Can anyone who has watched them tell me what is going on? They literally have a backline full of QLD representatives, as well as a backrow that could line up for their state. Is it a problem with their...

Jeez everything I say turns to shit... Well done to grammar though, firmed up as genuine contenders with Greene rightfully regarded as the premier player in the competition alongside Tuttle.
