I didn't mean for this to look like such an excuse, it has admittedly been a disappointing start to the GPS season for the boys in the Red, White and Blue.

When in Rome... But in all seriousness, the depth of talent TSS has lost in the past few years to other GPS schools in rugby and cricket is frustrating. Fortunately, there is less competition on the coast compared to in Brisbane to get students outside the GPS system.

Well unless BBC is particularly poor in the lower age groups, it's good to see for State High's sake that there is some good potential for the future.

They already have. I think with their first two results, the rest of their wins wouldn't exactly be regarded as huge 'upsets'.
