"As a student at TSS i think you will find Fielea at 12 with Brock Anderson at 14 and Gauder at 15 but other than that you have got the team spor on from my point of view " You said this a month ago mate. Woops. But let's not dwell on it, I was just taking a light-hearted stab - we'll leave it...

You said on the 16's forum that you didn't rate an AIC kid having marked him defence? Couple of weeks later, you're a Southport Old Boy? Woops...

Everything about the BGS game has pretty much been said but I would like to add some other things. BGS were down 10-8 and I'm sure some of that could have been attributed to nerves, but if they play their first 20 minutes like that against the likes of Nudgee, Churchie and TGS, they will get...

Fair assessment, unfortunately not going to be there to watch them tomorrow, as I'm going to watch a nephew play at Northgate. So I'll give a report on the BGS game, also interested to see how they are looking after a fair bit of hype.

I like Papworth at 7. Genuine aggression through the park and particularly at the breakdown. Unfortunate for Brown to lose his spot but I am sure there are rep opportunities for both of them in the next couple of years. Agreed, but would you say that a top three finish is well within reach? I...

Unfortunately I haven't seen too much of him and I can't match faces to names in that age group, but I did watch him play a couple of cricket matches for TSS and so I think I may have recognised him playing one match. From that one assessment I'm not in a position to say too much, but I agree...

I'm not too sure about the age group in Brisbane, but from down here 6/7/8. Joel Brown, 11/14. Isaac Nathan and 12/13. Freddy Dorrough would have to be in contention. THPs Brandon Kay and Josh Evans are also very good but I am unsure about their age eligibility.

Well the National Schools forum would indicate that it (12) was a highly competitive position and the NSW lad is an absolute gun also. But as to why they couldn't pick both of them, I guess we won't know... Perhaps it came down to the benefits of having Tuttle outside Deck and Greene, and inside...

Tuttle Oz A... NSW must have some bloody good backs. Might I add that 'a lot of posters rate BGS as being one of the top contenders in 2012' somewhat because there are simply a lot of BGS posters. But fair enough, I can see where you are coming from and I wish the team the very best for the...

Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2012

Can anyone make any reports about Pat Toeta, Vic. 10? Last time I saw him play in the 16's, I could see a correlation between his attributes and that of Ben Tapuai a few years ago, another youngster who I was fortunate to coach at 15/16 yrs old. Highly elusive ball playing fly-halves with...

Swarley I know that you're a knowledgeable poster on here so just out of interest, on what basis can you say that BGS has a better backline than the likes of Nudgee and TGS? Also, they are some very even key match ups (with regards to IGS vs. TSS). I believe that Pleash may have a slight edge in...

Is Greene the young BGS fly-half that kicks goals from almost anywhere within 50m? If so, I recall him playing two years ago at TSS, almost stealing the win purely through his boot. If he is indeed still at school, and was in grade 10 when I last watched him, I understand why BGS is still highly...

Look, on the coast we are seperated from more of this banter and rubbish, but even I have been made aware of the nonsensical rivalry of 'Mort Duff vs. Terrace'. So I suggest that on behalf of the people that read this forum with the intention of attaining knowledge about the GPS First XV...

Sorry churr, well that makes for a tantalising centre combination who will pit themselves well against the midfields of Nudgee, Churchie, BBC and BGS (if aonio - sorry for mispelling - is in fact playing there). Fair enough. Don't get me wrong, I think Terrace could potentially finish higher...
