3rd Place Play Off - Wallabies v Wales.

First up,Well done Australia. Re the booing of Quade Cooper. Personally I am disgusted with this behaviour, and I'm not alone over here in thinking that. It's gone too far and become like the "'beast"' call in South Africa,ie a crowd reaction. At the AB/Australia game we had some Australians...

It would look a bit suss if he jumped ship now.

RWC 2011 SF2: Australia vs. New Zealand

There is a very interesting piece of footage available on TV on demand here that features an obviously frustrated Elsom taking it out on Conrad Smith. Not picked up by any of the referees other wise a red card and a citing would have been issued.

Australia: now the worlds most hated team, and whinging saffas.

I'm looking forward to the game, we have a first class international to watch on Friday night.

Australia: now the worlds most hated team, and whinging saffas.

Rugby crowds are certainly different nowadays. I suspect many are there for an evening out on the grog rather than for the game, about which they no very little. Attention spans are so shortlived, that large numbers resort to throwing abuse, beer, and indulging themselves with endless, mindless...

3rd Place Play Off - Wallabies v Wales.

I think it would be fitting if he were capped either prior to or after the game,it's a great milestone. Well done!

    So where to from here?

So how does it work in Australia? In NZ we have club rugby. When I played we came from schools to the clubs, and up through the grades, which wasn't always easy competing with others on the way up and struggling against the crafty old buggars who were on their way down. My first day of school at...

    Congrats All Blacks!

Commiserations Australia. That should have been the final, your guys never wilted and it was only the last ten minutes that I began to relax. Now go and thump Wales, I'll be cheering for you.

Say It Ain't So!!! McCaw may be GONE...

McCaw will play. There has been nothing illegal done re the training sessions. Does anyone honestly think that with the eyes of the rugby world on NZ that Henry and Co would be dumb enough to try and pull a fast one? Journalists! the whole lot of them should be pushed off in a raft. I saw the...

RWC 2011 SF2: Australia vs. New Zealand

Seems hardly worthwhile our team lacing up their boots.

Arise, Sir David! Well done Australia. I thought you earned your win.

    Dan Carter out of cup

Aye, and who knows what the next games will turn up. I'm sure Henry and Co will have thought this through well before announcing the team. Whilst losing Carter is a huge loss I don't think we are completely out of it yet.

Cooper - Good or Great rugby player - discuss.

I rate him as very good, not great, yet. He is still young and has time to develop and round out his game.It would be a shame to see him return to league before realizing his potential.

    Rugby spirit

If only all of the supporters had the same attitude as the players. I find the endless mindless sledging between our two nations rather tiresome.

    Returns from injury

Papers over here report that Wycliff Palu is out for the tournament. I'm sorry to see any player go down with injury knowing how much effort went into their being selected.

    RWC - New Zealand v France - 24th September

Aye, nobody should be getting ahead of themselves, there is no clear favourite as yet, in my opinion.

    RWC - New Zealand v France - 24th September

It was only after Hore came on, something wasn't working right in the set scrum. NZ were all over them in the loose. Damage was done in the first half.

Kiwi hate vibe is marring World Cup

After reading of the disgusting behaviour at the league test in Auckland, when some Kiwis booed during the Australian anthem,I put it down to being an Auckland league crowd. I am just as disgusted to read of boorish behaviour during the RWC. We are the host nation and all overseas visitors are...
