Gotta give the Scots credit, they're playing very well

Wow... that was downright awful from the Wallabies. Were they asleep? Scots holding on a lot at the ruck too - doesn't seem to be getting noticed

RWC QF 3 IRE v ARG (Millenium Stadium) 18th Oct 2300 AEDT

Given the Kiwis can probably field 3 test sides, I don't think that will be much of a guarantee for them. That said, I reckon there should have been 2 sides given to Argentina so they at least have a local derby and trips there can be a little more meaningful.

The game was still in the balance early in the 2nd half and you have to wonder how it would have gone with Sexton and O'Connell in particular, but the Argentinans really played some beautiful rugby tonight. For the longest time they were like a South American Springboks, with less composure, but...

Argentinians have evolved beautifully over the past few years. The side that got so far in 2007 largely on a strong set piece and percentage high kicks has developed into a much more complete and enterprising side. Their ball in hand work has been beautiful tonight and they're just proving how...

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

This is my main concern. I don't honestly think they have our attacking weapons, but if they successfully emulate the Welsh approach they could milk a few kickable penalties, and so the Wallabies need to be prepared for all contingencies. Scotland definitely are a decent side and they'll come...

I have to say I thought the Samoans were really hard done by to lose that game... if not for some overly ambitious play in their own 22, they'd have won it by 4 points as opposed to losing by 3. Your boys looked pretty good against Japan, but then Japan visibly looked like they were stuggling to...

Personally I'm hoping for Aus/Ire/Wa/France, purely because I like how the Irish and Welsh play and don't want NZ anywhere near the final

Not only that, but it didn't really work that well against Samoa. I thought the Samoans largely played better and only really lost because they tried to be a little too ambitious in their 22 on one occasion Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That's my plan. Luckily on monday the only major thing we have at work as a sake tasting event lol. I'm glad that both Pocock and Folau aren't playing - it's not worth risking them and frankly we ought to be able to cover them against a side like Scotland. What's more, Folau's effectiveness...

    Waratahs 2016

28 isn't the best age to be buying a winger, but Reece Robinson isn't a bad acquisition all the same... not exactly an Eels fan, but the guy always seems to put a lot in (for a wing) and is pretty bloody quick.

Very much agree with others here that Folau and Pocock shouldn't be on the field for either their own good or the good of the team. Hooper and McCalman will work nicely, whilst Beale at the back will be more than a handful (given Folau's ankle has made his high ball work less secure anyway)...

Yeah true... that Tuilagi thing was a fucking joke

Just seen it. Nothing in it surely - just getting the Welsh bloke holding him back off him.

It's at least partly psychological you'd have to think at this stage... They just lose composure at critical times that they probably wouldn't if they were playing the English Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

That's an interesting way to split it. The majority of the Wallabies' wins since 2007 have been closer to that 3 point mark than 20 point thumpings, so I'm going with 3 point margin again in either direction Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bugger about Hooper and Folau... Both are pretty massive losses. I had thought Folau's ankle wasn't a big deal? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
