    Highlanders VS Tahs

Poor old Highlanders could get 100 here and still miss the finals because of their choke last week.

Super Rugby 2019 Predictions - Aussie Conference

I'm hoping for 3 home games after someone knocks off the Argies over there and the Kiwi team that finishes 8th or the Canes knock off the Saders. Maybe wishful thinking but not impossible. Speaking of not impossible, Landers could get 100 here.

Super Rugby 2019 Predictions - Aussie Conference

As for predictions: The top 4 in order are the Crusaders, Jags, Brumbies and Hurricanes who get home quarters. Still up for grabs are 5th to 8th, with only the Bulls guaranteed a spot somewhere, and 7 other sides clamouring for 3 spots. Next week, we can pretty much lock in a bonus point win...

Super Rugby 2019 Predictions - Aussie Conference

If the Brumbies come 3rd and the Highlanders come 7th, Brumbies and Highlanders win, who plays at home in the semi? The site just says winner of Jags/Highlanders vs Brumbies, but am I right in assuming the Brumbies get the home game?

    The Wallabies Thread

Looking more and more like if we added the Wallabies to the Kiwi conference as the 6th team, they wouldn't win a game all season either.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Is there any chance Super 15 still exists when the broadcast deal ends? Best case scenario I can envisage is the Rebels, Japan and Argentina getting removed, going back to the original Super 12. But more likely seems to be the concept just ends. It's almost dead already. Looks like we have 2...

Apparently anyone leaving has been banned. Interesting philosophy.

    The Wallabies Thread

I assume Fardy is injured. He'd be a certainty if fit. No real surprises the rest although I thought Georgie would add something to the squad.

    The Wallabies Thread

Here's my side assuming Sio fit: Folau, Speight, Kuridrani, Hodge, Haylett-Petty, Foley, Genia, Higginbotham, Hooper, Fardy, Coleman, Arnold, Ala'alatoa, Moore, Sio. Latu, T. Smith, Kepu, Carter, G. Smith, Phipps, Cooper, Kerevi.

    Brumbies 2017

They seem to lack heart this year the Brumbies. 6 close games now for 6 losses. They just don't have the spirit to get over the line unless they're 50 in front.

    Rugby World Cup 2019

    Ideally not at our expense!

    Rugby World Cup 2019

Geez I hope that's the case again. Easiest pool, England/France/Argentina in the quarters, Ireland/South Africa in the semis. Avoid the Kiwis until the final.

    Rugby World Cup 2019

    Hopefully the Argies again!

    Rugby World Cup 2019

Fantastic result for Australia and Ireland! How does the finals work? Who do we face if we win Pool D?

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Cutting an NZ team would be crazy. We're already at a point where the Wallabies and Springbox could enter the ITM Cup and not be in the top 5 teams. We can't afford to strengthen them any further.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Most of the chat in the press conference was around the world cup. I'd just about bet my house they are one of the teams to go in the next 2021 cull.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

The "consultation process" goes like this: Force - We've decided based on these numbers that you're gone in 2018. Convince us we're wrong in the next 72 hours. Rebels - Unless the Force come up with something compelling in the next 72 hours, you retain a team until 2021. Work out something...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

The reasons it is inevitable have nothing to do with the press conference - it just confirmed they were aware further reductions in the competition were inevitable. Being the ARU of course it was prudent for them to focus on Japan and Argentina in that regard rather than the 4th Aussie team...

    Yeah this year.
