    Wallabies vs England, Sydney

Not many are expecting much of a game. Had a hell of a lot of trouble getting rid of a few spare free tickets. Quite sad.

IRB U/20 Tournament and Oz Squad

I was blowing up at the ref after 10 mins. A couple of times he played no advantage to Australia when they looked like scoring and then I thought the first disallowed try to Tuoa was a fair try. But from then on we probably got the better of the calls including a try off a pass that looked forward.

    wallabies match radio coverage

I doubt anyone would be doing it on radio. Your only hope would be 702 but dare say they would be doing the League. Only do the Bled games normally.

Fair point. Could be the next Digby I guess and I did forget he is only 18. Not a fan of the Egerton look though.

    Shute Shield 2010

Finally watched the Uni Manly game last night. Gee it was funny watching Manly interact with Carter. Not sure he should be captain when he is going to be involved in so many little skirmishes but might save him a yellow card or two.

    Wallabies vs England, Sydney

I would be pretty happy with a World Cup side of 4. Horwill 5. Sharpe 6. Elsom 7. Pocock 8. Palu 18. Mumm 19. Hodgson Mumm and Hodgson would make a good bench combo.

IRB U/20 Tournament and Oz Squad

Great game to watch at 3am. Kept me awake till the end so they were doing something right. Switched over to the soccer after it was over and was out within seconds. The forwards looked very impressive but as mentioned the lineout wasnt great. Can see why LG has Peterson down for a Wallaby...

PB, Can we stop calling soccer Poofball. While I agree that the sport is softer than rugby I think many would find it discrimatory to call it Poofball and that is not what we are about here.

Australia A (aka Barbarians) v England II, Gosford

Doubt I will be up in time for the feed but may make it for a beer. Just hope there is food in the box.

Australia A (aka Barbarians) v England II, Gosford

I really hope they give Douglas a couple of weeks off and we see him on EOYT.

    All Blacks v Ireland

I can understand Heaslip's frustration but there is no excuse for what he did. From what I saw I would say 5 weeks is fair as I thought he was making contact with the thigh rather than the actual point of his knee but if that wasn't the case then he is very lucky. For Ireland I thought...

    Robbie Deans Report Card

Some really good discussion in this thread guys, especially Redshappy and Lang. I personally think Robbie has done a job that is on par with the expectations I had when he started. I have no doubt that he has improved the culture of the Wallabies and we are in a better position than we were...

Would someone like Vuna count as a rookie?

    Wallabies vs England, Perth

I was at that game and it was one of my more satisfying rugby memories. The best bit was having a few beers in a pub afterwards with a couple of players. One drunk idiot tried to tell us that the only reason we won was because of the ref and from where he sat our front row was shitter than it...

    Green and Gold Anthem

That is a perfect example of why you should never go home with someone you picked up at Tah Bar

    Wallabies vs England, Perth

So it's ok to throw in an uncapped rookie who might only be 51% fit but bloody unfair to chuck in a guy there with no recent/professional experience?

    Aus Babas v. Poms

Of the English side i couldnt help but laugh at Tait's reaction when he dropped the ball at one stage in the 2nd half. It looked to me like he was thinking to himself "Why the hell do I drop so many balls?" He looked at his hands, shrugged his shoulders then hunched them and walked to position...

    Aus Babas v. Poms

Pretty much what I thought Lee. A few of my random thoughts broken down by positions Aus Forwards Basically went as most of us thought it would and as Lee said about 47 times in the last few weeks. The props were simply not good enough. Slipper popped up around the field a number of...

    Aus Babas v. Poms

Chapman?? Really? Made a couple of offloads in the first half but his missed tackle that led to their try in the 1st half was woeful and didnt see him do much stuff other than being indecisive as to whether to go for a steal or a counter ruck at the break down. If he gets a bench spot it is...
