    Australia wins London Sevens

The Hong Kong programs try to say it is because of their success in the 80's with Campo and Lynagh and co.

    What position did/do you play?

Way too many fatties around here. After being a fullback at school I went on to earn the prestigious title of fattest/slowest winger in Subbies. Played 10 last year but now enjoying semi retirement.

    Australia wins London Sevens

Yeah I was there that year and it is just the usual Boo Australia routine. Happens every tournament everywhere except Adelaide.

    Melbourne Rebels 2011

Re: Melbourne Rebels recruitment: update what you hear Is Hobbs the same as the butcher from the Highlanders?

    Australia wins London Sevens

Having seen them in Adelaide and Hong Kong it was clear they were getting much better and werent far away from a performance like this. Stannard has been a great leader and sounds like he really went on with the job. The next and final leg is in Edinburgh next week. I was under the impression...

The playing rugby in 2010 thread.

You guys won 3rd grade while our guys got up in Twos. Field was very slippery and there was quite a bit of breeze that made conditions pretty tough. That was the first time Ive seen our first grade play this year and they certainly didnt deserve to win. One of your 2nd rowers dominated most of...

    Shute Shield 2010

I believe that is the rule currently in place in the Subbies comp Bruce.

Maybe it is a biased Tahs/Wallabies opinion. Not sure if you watched Ash but a couple of close games in the higher grades. We were very lucky to escape with win in 1st Grade

Bok team to face Wales in Cardiff

Re: Bok team to face Wales in Cardiff More Bulls/Stormers players than I would have thought, even if a few of them are benchies.

    Melbourne Rebels 2011

Re: Melbourne Rebels recruitment: update what you hear Australia's answer to Edwards. Will be interesting to see how he goes. Assuming he takes up a defenisve role does anyone else see the irony in Grey being skills coach and Stuart a defense coach?

The playing rugby in 2010 thread.

We try to play a couple of games there each year. Dont always have access to our usual ground depending on school fixtures and also most of our players are based in the eastern suburbs so just makes sense. Think I might be able to get down and come off the bench. Watch out for their front row...

    Bulls vs Crusaders Semi Final

Well in a way Im just hedging my bets as I backed the Stormers at the start of the season. While I also backed the Tahs I bailed out on them the week before the Highlanders game for a tidy profit. I 'layed' the Crusaders, Brumbies, Chiefs and Hurricanes so I am guarenteed to end in front no...

Break Out the Arm Bands? - Bakkies Again....

Could that be why apart from Brussow you dont have too many fetchers in the Waugh/Smith mould.

    Bulls vs Crusaders Semi Final

Possibly not but I was in the same boat. Have taken the Bulls @ 1.50 into the Tahs 1-12 @5. Return of 7.50.

    Bulls vs Crusaders Semi Final

Risking getting in trouble from Scarfman here but thought I would start a thread for the other semi, Bulls Vs Crusaders despite their being a few comments in other threads. The Bulls are paying $1.50. Despite playing at a new ground I am finding these odds very tempting. We all saw the stats...

Break Out the Arm Bands? - Bakkies Again....

Think he is defending the wearing of the armbands specifically and relating that to the response to a decision i.e - What Giteau did was the same as what the Boks did by wearing an armband

Can I just say that I dont like the new bigger number of posts per page. No doubt there is a reason for doing it and many may prefer it that way but I dont. :angryfire:
