    S14: SA Derbies

But a home semi would greatly increase your chances of making the final. Plus you would get to go yourself wouldnt you? Travelling to Australia would be a much more difficult task.

Benn Robinson gone ............................... 6 weeks min.

Unfortunately that means BA will probably move to LH for the NH/Fiji matches when we really need him clocking up some TH gametime.

Is it not what they had at the start, when they lost their first few before he was benched??

    S14: SA Derbies

Enjoy the day PB, it will no doubt be a cracker and I think the desperation and home crowd will be enough. Ideally I would ask them to draw sneak into 3rd place and get to travel to Sydney to play the Tahs. That would be a semi I would like to watch.

    Chiefs V Waratahs, Hamilton

See quite a few people giving Douglas points in the Player of the Year thread which surprised me a bit. Having only seen the first half in bits and pieces I was going to say I was a little disappointed by Douglas. Was getting quite involved but he really needs to work on his body height and...

The playing rugby in 2010 thread.

Donned the boots for the first time this year today. My club were desperate for a ref for a Halligans match so I offered to help out in return for free rein at the bar and bbq later in the season. Then, as I already had the boots on I trotted out for 4th grade. We are a little bit guilty of...

Cant believe they are making a big deal of him being a level one ref. Every professional player should be a level one at the very least. Even props. Wingers can maybe get away with just being a touch judge (A.R's or whatever they are)

Does anyone know what Norths offered the Parra players that kept getting mentioned on Saturday?

Re: Cheifs V Waratahs, Hamilton We have been down this path too many times this season. Lets not do it again. My comment was one partially made in jest and should have included a :fishing, but as with all humour, its only funny when there is some element of truth to it. But Barnes is just...

Re: Cheifs V Waratahs, Hamilton Bif is it you that makes those avatar thingys? Although I have them turned off in my settings I would love to have that clip where Barnes blows up at Carter for not running into the gap he had opened up early in the season.

    Shute Shield 2010

Massive generalisation but is this because there is a higher percentage of Islanders/CHS kids in the rep teams and these guys are less likely to go on through the uni/college old boy system?

Re: Cheifs V Waratahs, Hamilton When Barnes has had Horne outside him he has largely passed it to him. When he has had Carter outside he has kicked. I dont blame him

    Shute Shield 2010

I would have thought the fact that very few 18-30 yr olds live in Gordon would be the reason for a lot of these movements. The thought of driving 40 mins before and after training, $60 cab fares from the rugby club to the late night venue etc would be enough for m to change clubs.

    Giteau - what the!!

I know most people think Cooper is a lay down misere to be the Wallabies 10 this year but based on what Deans said the other day I am not totally sure he is inked in just yet. His defence, while improving, is still a liability, as we saw with that feeble attempt on Bekker and I would not be...

Wallabies 2nd favourites for World Cup ?!?!

If you believe that then lay them for 19/1 Thomo. Unfortunately I dont have the ability to tie up that much money till 2011 but if you believe they are unders you can bet against them. They may blow out even further come November internationals and you can cash in then if you cant wait till...

I was of the understanding that it is irrelevant if a player is being held or not. However this is often not enforced.
