Sorry, Whistle but it’s ridiculous having the finals at Leeton tomorrow if they don’t have any teams competing. I appreciate Clubs making the trip to Griffith to play in the normal season. It’s a long way up here and back. Why travel to Leeton when no Leeton teams are involved. Bloody...

Just trying to work out what you’re saying Sam. Are you talking about the situation of an appeal?

At the City v Tah game were there linesmen to support James & the players? I don’t disagree with Whistle’s assessment of the situation but without adequate officials sometimes things are going to get out of hand. And by linesmen I mean badged dressed linesmen.

Go Reddies. When was their last win? Re double registered player. What happens when the 2 teams in question play each other? Perhaps a half for each club?

Is it too difficult for the home club to provide linesmen/women. I mean what other sport at a senior level can’t provide at least that basic level of officiating?

Watched Lollies v Reddies game today livestream. Great to see Reddies with numbers in the club. Next step is quality with quantity. Good to see Reddies entering a 1st grade team & not taking an easier option.

Thanks for the update Reasoning. Good to see Leeton being proactive.

That sounds OK Sam. One parent is fine. Just had visions of kids being expected to be dropped off at a certain time and picked up at a certain time. The other parent might have to buy a pair of binoculars & watch from the car park.

Under the new Government restrictions are parents allowed into the grounds to accompany kids playing junior sport? Just thinking about Siru juniors starting up soon.

No problem with punters drinking cold beers tomorrow Sam. Unfortunately it won’t be on the hill watching their teams run round. It could be an unenviable job on the gate for home club volunteers deciding who is essential to the visiting teams & who isn’t. What happens at an open ground like...

Didn’t offend me at all Athol. Enjoy reading your comments. Wagga has 3 of the 4 teams in this season’s 1st grade competition. The Wagga teams are obviously going to travel a lot less than the Bulls. You should reconsider about contributing to the forum Athol. People with differences of opinion...

C’mon Mauler that’s a bit unfair. A lot of positive points are made on this forum. I think Athol is off the mark with his post. It is a home & away competition & that’s what the Bulls have got. 5 away & 4 home. Athol’s biggest mistake was using the term Siru irregularities & a certain club in...

I think the main reason Griffith may have pulled out might have been that a lot of Blacks players work at Baiadas chicken farms or the wineries. If Casellas or Baiadas had to close down operations for a week or so because of a covid worker it would be a big deal. I don’t remember any keyboard...

Group 20 pulled the pin last night. Seniors & Juniors. Have heard that Cutters haven’t officially withdrawn. I wonder if they might have an influx of Hay Magpie league players & re think their situation?

Griffith have withdrawn from this year’s comp.

It might be better at this stage of the year/season that Siru make a call. It’s obvious they are in an unenviable situation but clubs need to know more about the big picture.

At this stage only junior sport has the OK to re commence. We have a long way to go. Things are evolving pretty quickly but they’ll need to if footy is to happen this year.

You would presume that wouldn’t you Athol. But pretty sure we’ll be getting our directives through Brumbies. Siru juniors run through territory where the seniors are part of the Waratahs set up. So if I’m correct some senior clubs like Temora, Cootamundra & Grenfell will be following directions...

Brumbies Athol. I saw on Facebook where Aggies are looking forward to beginning training in early June, so that’s a good sign.
