Thought Blacks were lucky to get as close as they did to Waratahs when they last played but yesterday Blacks were clearly better than Steamers. Watched the stream. How good was the ref. That guy is very good. Don’t entirely agree with you Athol. Blacks improving. They are getting more...

What happened re the incident at the end of the Blacks v Steamers game. The ref signalled a kicking the ball out motion as the reason for the now infamous penalty. I mean was the situation deemed as an accidental mistake?

Agree Reasoning Griffith played their best game this season. Thought Waratahs just couldn’t get going. Every time they looked like getting a roll on they were called back. I think Waratahs were exposed though with Blacks making numerous breaks around the edges. Aggies seem to be improving. They...

Top 4 on the ladder will stay in that order. Blacks aren’t promising to do too much but Tumut have no hope of advancing given their draw.

Everyone knows Siru does a great job, as does Ref’s Association. Nobody needs apologies. At the end of the season if Griffith & Albury are close on the points ladder there could be some complaining from Blacks. Siru’s other problem is the ref? What happened wasn’t a mistake, it was deliberate...

Not a howler Athol. An invention of a rule to create a penalty. Albury deliberately kick out to end halftime from 22 restart. No issue. How can anybody ask these guys questions? Players attempted to ask the obvious question at the moment but ref just waved them away.

Never been a fan of our rep situation. No ones fault, just that Waratahs own 90% of the state. Credit due to those responsible for making Siru Rep as good as it can be. Adding Juniors & Ladies a great innovation. Looks an enjoyable/interesting day at ANU north oval.

Well what do you make of the ref’s signalling Reasoning? He’s definitely signalling a kicking motion, as a reason for the penalty. What’s going on here? Athol, Mauler, Bubba, Sam?

Yeah thanks Reasoning have a look. The ref was very definite in his signalling. Just something I haven’t seen before. Could be a new addition to the rugby rule book. Like we need more rules in our game.

Question? Griffith v Albury game. Right near the end of the game Albury knock on, near the sideline. Griffith player lightly punts ball over sideline. Ball travels a couple of metres. Instead of scrum Griffith decision is Albury penalty. Is that the correct decision? From ensuing play Albury...

The point is Athol, Mauler & Nick know a lot more about players across Siru than I do. Hence my position on the tipping comp. % wise the Rep side is comprised of City 36%, Tahs 24%, Aggies 16%, Steamers 8%, Bulls 8%, Blacks 4%, Phantoms 4%. I’ll leave it at that. I’m not going to post about this...

Really Bubba. 15/25 from 2 clubs. 4 from another club that has only been able to beat the hapless Reddies this year. You blokes are cracking jokes aren’t you. It shouldn’t be the SIRU Rep side because the SIRU Rep side would be representative of SIRU wouldn’t it.

This is not a SIRU rep squad. This side that has been selected should be renamed the Wagga Invitational. 19 out of the 25 available places have gone to Wagga based clubs. Albury & Tumut only have 2. Siru hates criticism. Why do this?

Griffith decent side, high standard game, genuine contender. Rep Squad. Wagga City 9. Griffith 1.

Of course people are going to continue to talk about the draw Mauler. It’s a difficult situation. My opinion is that I don’t believe Leeton should be in 3rds. Also don’t think we should be having all these byes in 1st grade so we can include Hay & Deni in 2nds. Will miss Whistle’s posts in 2021.

Griffith looked pretty average on livestream yesterday. Looks like Bulls, Blacks & Waratahs about equal at this stage. Maybe Steamers will be capable of challenging City.

Blacks have big no.s training & involved in the club. They will have 4 solid teams throughout the year. I’m not sure Griffith has a lot of exciting players. But those clubs like Griffith that have a solid base generally perform consistently over the season. I think the Blacks will finish in the...

I’d be interested in the tipping comp Mauler. With the 3rds situation I reckon they should have a seperate draw. Maybe like the pub comps they have in League where games are held fortnightly and all games are held at a common venue. At least that way the teams would have consistent footy. As far...

That might be the case Whistle but I just had a look at the 3rd grade draw. In the 1st 4 weeks Griffith has 3 byes. The whole draw process has been based on being inclusive of Hay & Deni in Siru. Unfortunately this inclusion of Hay & Deni is fine for 2nd & womens grade where these clubs have...

I don’t know what to think of the draw, Reasoning. What do you say. It’s what you get when you work from the bottom up instead of the top down. Here at Griffith in the 1st round we have the Sports Club ground booked & 2 out of our 4 teams (who have been training for quite a while now) will be...
