    Reds 2022

Reg might know about this - why is there no mention of the Reds in the papers in Brisbane? Reds play a trial match, players and coach out with COVID, and nothing - yet there are pages and pages about NRL and AFL. Even some non Qld A- League game gets a write up but no rugby. I would have...

    Reds v Force pre-season trial. 5 Feb.

'The Western Force will base themselves on the east coast for the opening two rounds of the inaugural season of Super Rugby Pacific due to ongoing border restrictions in Western Australia as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. 'The Force home fixture against the Brumbies, originally scheduled...

    Waratahs 2022

Penney has a pretty handy track record as a coach too outside of the Tahs. I hope that Coleman goes well and has all the right backing but time will tell. Definitely some good young backline talent there.

    Reds 2022

Seems like our backrow and locks have some good depth. What is the general thoughts on the front row and backs? Tate will have benefited from the Wallaby tour and seems like a player who lifts, is O'Connor still our best option at 10 and who should be the back up? We seem to have options on...

    Brumbies 2022

Sounds like they did a Reds 'extensive search of the car park' for the new coach - find it hard to believe that Larkham was the 'most outstanding candidate'. If his name wasn't Larkham would his coaching record alone make him an outstanding candidate?

    Qld Premier Rugby 2022

For rugby purposes or for other work? He's a good halfback.

    Brumbies 2022

Wasn't Simon Cron with the Waratahs and supposedly lined up to be the next Tahs head coach at one stage? Surely that counts for experience at this level? Larkham should never have been parachuted in at Super Rugby level, too much jobs for the boys. Hewat looked good when he was at the Brumbies.

    Rebels 2022

You have signed Moses Sorovi from the Reds - he is a good, quick halfback. I would have liked to keep him in QLD but glad that he has a spot in Melbourne.

I thought that Gunn retired after 2020?

Thanks Jets for going to such effort to provide the tipping, great work.

Souths must be doing some things right to get into GF's with those teams so good on them.

    Olympic 7's

No arguments there - Fiji were deserved winners. Argentina were the surprise package - they were great.

    Wallabies 2021

Didn't Rodda used to play for Easts? What is the deal with Wests getting all these interstate players?

    Western Force 2022

Agree with your point but still need to make sure that the people they are looking at are the right fit for the right reasons. I don't think we need mercenaries who get offered silly money because the NRL doesn't rate them anymore, or have a history of off field issues - find the right players...

    Rebels 2022

I thought Sorovi was Torres Strait Islander - is he part Fijian as well? Good player, very good recruit for Rebels I would say.

    2021 Buildcorp Super W Season

The Waratahs women were very impressive on Saturday. I was at the game and their passing through the backs and the firepower on the wings was just too good for Qld. Agree with Reg that Qld just didn't make much of the ball they had and their big players seemed to go down too easily although...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2021

Happy to see Easts finally get a win - seemed set for it last week only to lose, and when the scores were level I was a bit worried but good work by the team. Gee, that big Norths 13 is hard to stop - very powerful. Hopefully for Easts this is the start of a run of wins :).

R3 Reds v Chiefs, turmoil in Townsville?

Well done Reds, great that it ended up a thrilling finish - at 30-3 or something like that it looked like it wasn't going to be a contest. Really pleased that the Reds put on this performance in Qld, and in Townsville especially, as it can only help to boost supporters. Great comeback by the...

R3 Reds v Chiefs, turmoil in Townsville?

Chiefs have been great to watch, totally took the Brumbies apart last week. If the Reds keep their kicking game going DMac will have a field day.
