    Kurtley Beale

I'm not sure Kurtley should be criticising anyone else for not doing their job properly at the moment, glasshouses & stones

    Vikings v Rays — Thurs 2 Oct @ Tuggeranong

Knee according to the Canberra Times match report: http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-union/union-news/canberra-vikings-cling-to-nrc-finals-hopes-after-being-beaten-by-melbourne-rising-20140925-10lyn1.html My knowledge of knee injuries is minimal but a medial ligament injury is the less severe one...

    Vikings v Rays — Thurs 2 Oct @ Tuggeranong

I notice Sean Doyle isn't listed this week, any news on how severe his injury is? Hoping that the Brumbies won't be carrying two opensides with dodgy knees in the squad next year.

    Aussie Player Exodus

My memory might be deceiving me, but I thought Giteau didn't sign up with Toulon until after he was left out of the 2011 World Cup squad? Didn't he do a tweet prior to the squad announcement giving away the fact that he hadn't been picked?

    Waratahs 2015

Just be warned that the Wig & Pen won't be where it was. They've just closed down at the current location and are in the process of moving to their new digs. And if you like the beers at the Wig, you should probably try BentSpoke, the former head brewer's new pub.

    Brumbies 2015

Seems Iona has only been signed on an EPS contract according to the Canberra Times: http://www.canberratimes.com.au/rugby-union/union-news/act-brumbies-sign-canberra-vikings-centre-rodney-iona-20140917-10hzfr.html

Maybe Robbie Coleman could be an emergency scrumhalf option?

    Reds 2015

Though the big breweries all have their 'craft' arms now, so I wouldn't be entirely surprised to see say some James Squire/Matilda Bay/Little Creatures at rugby grounds at some stage in the near future. If I had to drink mid strenght I'd prefer it was LC Rogers or JS Constable. Though I don't...

    Brumbies 2015

And I assume one of the EPS spots would be for another scrumhalf?

    Brumbies 2015

As far as backs go, flyhalf is probably well enough covered between To'omua, Lilo & Iona, otherwise Windsor might have been worth a look. Definitely look light on for wingers and someone to cover 12-13 would probably be handy. I'm assuming the Brumbies can't afford a big name marquee player, so...

    Brumbies 2015

I'm guessing the spot vacated by Mowen is still open. According to wikipedia ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_2014%E2%80%9315_Super_Rugby_transfers#Brumbies ) these are the signings confirmed so far for next year (though the list is definitely missing a few recent signings) Prop...

    Brumbies 2015

Pretty certain I read somewhere that he was released earlier this year. This article says he is no longer contracted: http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-union/union-news/former-act-brumbies-forward-ita-vaea-eyes-rugby-comeback-20140613-zs730.html And in other news the Brumbies have posted this on...

RIP Test Rugby on the Gold Coast

I don't think we should be looking to replace the Gold Coast with any one venue, rather we should be rotating these games through a series of smaller venues. If you're only getting a test once in a blue moon then it becomes a special event and hopefully draws in a decent crowd. It could be...

    Reds 2015

Interesting that they had Horan playing at 15 and Little at 12 in that game. Who was at 13? Dan Herbert?

    Brumbies 2015

Though from memory in one of the NRC games the Vikings scrum struggled with I think Makin and Alaatoa as the props, then dominated once the Smith brothers came on.

I believe Sosene Anesi is still playing... (in Romania of all places)

If you don't want the Bok games in Perth anymore we'll be happy to have them in Canberra.
