    Wallaby Watch 2014

Thought I read somewhere that it was only a grade one tear and he should be back on deck in a couple of weeks

    Aussie Player Exodus

Probably not the right thread for it, but according to this article Mark Gerrard & Sitaleki Timani are going to lodge an application to play for Tonga through the changed IRB eligibility process caused by sevens becoming an Olympic sport...

Waratahs v Brumbies, SFS Saturday 26 July

Reckon Bernie would still go alright, but there may not be enough strapping tape available

Western Sydney Rams . NRC Official Team Thread

Obviously they don't want single people at the games - $29 for one ticket, but $30 for a family. And why would you buy a 'mates rates' ticket for $87 when you could buy 2 family tickets (which would get 4 adults in) for $60? Or am I completely misreading the ticketing structure? I don't know...

    Western Force 2015

While there may be questions over McCalman's impact at test level, he's a gun at Super level and I reckon he'd be a fine replacement for Mowen. But as this is fan forum speculation based on Growden scuttlebutt, I'd suggest the likelihood of it happening is in the near vicinity of zero

    Adopt a finalist 2014

We still get full strength beer at games down here. Maybe not 'quality' as such (Hahn Super Dry this year), but it does the job

    Adopt a finalist 2014

Or even better, the Clan knock over the Tahs in the semis and the Brums knock off the Crusaders - home final at Bruce!

    National Rugby Championship 2014

The NRL still only release the detailed draw incrementally - but that's just so that Channel 9 can decide which games they want to broadcast on Friday nights/Sunday arvos over the course of the season rather than deciding at the start, so that they can avoid showing bottom of the table clashes.

ACT Brumbies v Western Force - The Elimination

Canberra Times journo on Twitter suggesting that Rathbone might be starting on the wing, not Coleman

Waratahs v Brumbies 28th June ANZ Stadium

Only that the Brumbies perhaps aren't as dour as some would paint them

Waratahs v Brumbies 28th June ANZ Stadium

If you take out the Crusaders, it's an equal amount of tries against top 6 teams. But if you include the Force, Chiefs & Bulls amongst the finals contenders, then the Brumbies are ahead

Waratahs v Brumbies 28th June ANZ Stadium

And yet the Brumbies have scored more tries against teams in finals contention than the Tahs have.

    Waratahs 2014

Seem to recall that Jim Williams played as a winger when he first came to the Brumbies before shifting to the back row. Not sure if he'd always played on the wing prior to coming to the Brums or was just shifted there in the hope that he'd become a Lomu-esque giant winger that could run over the...

    Reds 2015

"Speight signed a new two-year deal with the Brumbies this week. He's also the only player who hasn't made his Test debut to get an ARU top-up contract. It's an indication of how highly he is valued in McKenzie's plans for the World Cup next year."...

    Brumbies v Rebels, Round 16 2014

Read a report that Coleman is crook with a virus and has been quarantined from the rest of the team. So he may not be fit to play this weekend
