    Brumbies 2014

I pity the poor bloke that got pushed in to Lake Burley Griffin, hope all his vaccinations are up to date.

    Wallaby Watch 2014

Just don't let him kick for touch on penalties. Just about guaranteed to miss touch at least once per game.

    Wallaby Watch 2014

From memory Quade didn't start in the first two Bledisloe games, To'omua got chucked in at the deep end. Cooper only started in the dead rubber I think.

    Brumbies v Sharks, round 13 2014

Probably depends how Mogg's going. If he's having a shocker, Pat to 15, otherwise in for Lilo at 12?

    Exit from Super Rugby?

At least they didn't call him Mike

Western Sydney Rams . NRC Official Team Thread

I thought that Foxsports were going to be broadcasting a live NRC game on Thursday nights as it filled a hole in their scheduling. Or did I just imagine that?

    Exit from Super Rugby?

They'd just have to make sure everyone in town turns up

    Reds 2014

    All those wasted banjo lessons?

    Reds 2014

Isn't Ah-Wong down in Canberra playing grade now with an eye to a Brumbies contract? Or am I thinking of a different bloke?

    John I Dent Cup 2014

I guess they used Butler because he was already on the books and the nearest to a 7 they had. And because he's not a specialist 7, they feel they need cover on the bench in case we're getting done over by the opposition 7?

    Wallaby Watch 2014

To'omua got thrown in at the deep end with two tests against NZ at 10. In the first he didn't do much beside shovel the ball on to the next bloke. In the second he started to show a bit but never got a chance again.

    Waratahs 2014

Yet another similarity with 2011 Giteau

    Waratahs 2014

There was no doubting Giteau's passion at the Brumbies in 2011 either - doesn't mean it works for the team. In fact, Beale seems to have a touch of the Gits of 2011 - e.g. crabbing sideways, trying to do too much himself, etc

    Reds vs Brumbies - Rd9 2014

Fotu, Carter, Speight etc coming back in the next few weeks should help (assuming no new injuries)

    Brumbies v. Blues Rd 8 2014

From memory McCabe got schooled by Nonu in the ill-fated game in Canberra in 2012, hopefully he turns the tables this time. Looking like it might be a wet night, if White and Mogg's kicking game is on song then it might give the Brums the edge.

    John I Dent Cup 2014

Wests v Royals probably the pick of the fixtures. Though depending on where you're staying it might not be the most convenient location to get to (not that anything is particularly far away in Canberra if you're driving)

    Brumbies 2014

So if he does switch to union and then get picked for the Wallabies, he'd sit out the NH tour because it's too cold? Might have to skip tests in NZ too as it can get a bit nippy there.

    Northern Hemishpere Rugby 2013

For Irish fans' sake I hope this is just an April Fool's joke: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/international/ireland/10735714/Irish-to-bring-in-former-Australia-hooker-David-Nucifora-as-their-high-performance-director.html

    Brumbies 2014

Butler and Smiler both seemed to pick up knocks in the Stormers game. If they're out for any time then McVerry would likely get a run I guess.

    Brumbies 2014

We can just hope he turns out as well as another journeyman the Brumbies picked up from Japan - Scott Fardy.
