    Shute Shield 2009

Re: 2009 Shute Shield Was going to go down and watch Easts Randwick today but couldnt get out of work. Was it just for ANZAC day or is the Shute Shield not on ABC1 anymore?

    Gerrard going?

Gee, I can understand going to France for the culture, Ireland for the hospitality and tax breaks, Wales for the passion and support of rugby and Italy for the food but to go to Japan (2nd Division no less) really is money and money only. Obviously setting himself up for life and he does have...

McLinden is an interesting one. He looks dangerous and has made a number of breaks but they have actually rarely led to tries. Worth sticking with but hasnt kicked on like manny of us were hoping. While hesitant to talk rugby league I would point the Reds in the direction of North Queensland of...

    Wallaby Watch: Open Side

Clearly not. Noddy has given us a couple of options for each position, something the Tahs backs wouldnt be bothered to do.

    WAUGH STAYS

Just read on the Tele website that Waugh has signed with the Tahs for another 2 years. Despite a few shortcomings in his game these days I give that a :thumb

Louden on the S14, ELVs & Player Drain

I was thinking it was a if I kick it to there, you will then kick it to here and I will then kick it to there strategy but Noddy could be right.

:nta: But if your parents dont know you are wearing them then how would they know?? My one makes more sense. Normally its rollarblades but works for white boots as well.

Nice one Boarman. Thats a good turn out and a good result. We had our ladies day yesterday at High's oval in Centennial Park. Not very clever given the races, swans and tahs were all on in the area but we only get access to the ground during school holidays. We still managed to have a fair...

    Tahs Vs Farce

That was a big surprise but gee good on him. 1/3 may have been off the bench but he did play every minute of every game in a super 14 season which is pretty damn impressive. Some talk of serious overseas offers for him which would be a huge huge loss if he does go.

In the past we have had a bit of a problem with that. For the last few years ours 3's have been led by a bloke who sees training as optional and if it is on, only involves a long game of touch and a quick bit of contact work. However because you dont need to be at training to get a game you get...

    Hickey watch

2006 We make the finals with Waugh in the team. 2007 - We come 2nd last when Waugh isn't in the team. 2008 - We lose the final with Waugh in the team. Having said that I completely agree that the penalty shot was a very poor decision.

    Reds v Force

No, he is actually right. To be considered the tackler in the eyes of the law, the defender must go to ground (at least a knee). If he doesn't he must retire and enter through the gate.

Has he moved back to uni? Not the first time I've seen that.

    Western Force 2010

Re: Comings and goings at the Force Exactly Scarfie... Just look at the number of internal movements in the last few years. Fava, Gits, Morgs etc etc. They are not state teams but super franchises. No loyalty or sense of duty exists. Having said that I still think some of the suggestions are...

Noddy - White boots, Tahs jersey, 8 tries in two games.... I know rugby whisperer doesnt like to put pressure on kids but this one sounds a little bit special. Can I be his player agent? Nick - ..... I'm not even going to say anything as I'm sure you are ashamed enough as it is. Have pulled...

    Kurtley Beale

You obviously never made it to Uni. :fishing While on the Syd Uni mafia theory, why did a number of reports mention that the Tahs were using a 9, 10, 12 Sydney Uni combo? Burgess left Uni after a year of 2nd grade colts and has been at Easts since. Also, as other posters have pointed out...

    Tahs Vs Blues

While Tuitavakes(??) try was pretty hot stuff he actually stepped on the line at least once and possibly twice. But for me the try showed that it may be time for Horne to have a weeks break. He has been well below par the last two weeks and his lazy attempt at tackle is not what we have grown to...

nah I love a bus trip on weekends. My initial comment was about training. But the year we had blacktown, Liverpool, cambotown and Newport meant I got sick of having burnt body hair. :nta:
