New Zealand v Wallabies, Eden Park, Sat 22nd October

Finally the balance of the forward pack looks better with timani at 8. Don't like pocock on the bench but it's preferable to playing the pooper. Hope Cheika doesn't revert to old habits by hooking timani early.

New Zealand v Wallabies, Eden Park, Sat 22nd October

Timani is showing what we have been missing at 8 all year. Having a great game so far.

New Zealand v Wallabies, Eden Park, Sat 22nd October

Mate there a lot of videos on the internet showing just how many ABs tries are scored from the direct phases of play following a poor foley kick. This was another one to add to the collection. No the rubbish defence wasn't his fault. Neither was the next try. Nor am I saying he is shit. But his...

Predictable 8 pt turnaround there from foley. Missed penalty then rubbish nothing kick to gift possession.

But what appeals to the posters on this site would likely bore the masses senseless. He's being paid to be the class clown and does a pretty good job of it. Remember commentary is for the greater public not just for the rugby purist.

Even in the eyes of Queenslanders. I enjoyed watching him play and was bummed when he snapped his Achilles Don't mind his banter either - just not the one eyed commentating. But I guess he's a tah so what else can we expect :)

New Zealand v Wallabies, Eden Park, Sat 22nd October

You mean play more like the guy on the bench - the one that's been touted as one of the best traditional OSF in the world but can't crack the wallabies starting lineup??

F@#k me - one step forward two steps back. Cheika is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma. That is all

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

The discussion referred to the period when both players were fit, and was revisited when someone posted that Hoopers game on the w/e made calls for his omission earlier in the year ill considered. I and several others feel the pooper has run its course, which, when both are fit leaves one in the...

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

Ok so hooper has been the best 7 playing as a smallish 8 and pocock has been the best 7 wearing the 8 jersey playing as a 7. Got it.

Only because the best 7 has been playing 8

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

It's not great but I think tahs supporters have a much higher tolerance for one of their own pushing the boundaries of the laws than a 10 they love to hate..

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

Why? He's still the 2nd best 7 in Australia regardless of his versatility. Which means those who don't support the two 7s concept and feel it leaves too many deficiencies exposed elsewhere still have justification. Perhaps more so with Timanis game on the w/e.

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

I'd be happy to run the same tight 5 again. Arnold was quiet though so also wouldn't object if Douglas or Simmons started either. Mumm hasn't impressed me across the series - he'd be my bench cover. Would be interested to see timani/ Houston at 6/8 from what I saw last game. Not necessarily...

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

I've been saying this for a while. He played a lot at FB coming through the ranks. Good boot, safe under the high ball, solid in contact. I think a kerevi/ folau midfield with hodge at FB and some pace and finishing on the wing would have vastly more attacking threat than our current lineup...

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

It's commonly abused in endurance sports such as cycling. Armstrong used it. Wiggins and Froome both tested positive and miraculously came up with TUEs retrospectively. It reduces pain and inflammation at high intensity exertion, and probably allows athletes to push further through the pain...

Eddie Jones "There's no doubt Will Genia and Quade Cooper have made the Wallabies play better" Good to see at least one southerner can see reality through those blue tinted glasses. Some may not like him but he's an astute analyst of the game.

    Springboks v Wallabies - Sunday 2 October 1am AEST - Loftus Versfeld

I agree that really stood out last night. The ABs are just so good at capitalising on line breaks - always a swarm of black jerseys in support. We often end up isolated and then a turnover - we either run away from our support or its just not there. Not sure if it's coaching, lack of urgency or...

    Springboks v Wallabies - Sunday 2 October 1am AEST - Loftus Versfeld

I'd rather bench foley and move Kerevi in one. He's just as good at 12. I'd like to see kerevi/folau midfield with hodge and DHP competing for the FB/bench spot. Bring some Fijian pace and finishing in to the wings. Not all at once but that's what I'd be working towards.
