    Springboks v Wallabies - Sunday 2 October 1am AEST - Loftus Versfeld

Bullshit. 20% clean ball from set piece is just hyperbole. The forwards didn't cover themselves in glory but they won enough possession and territory to let the show ponies do their thing. But they didn't, because they sucked as well. So they deserve their share of criticism.

    Springboks v Wallabies - Sunday 2 October 1am AEST - Loftus Versfeld

Kerevi's yards are in crowded channels and hence are invaluable. Being on the wing DHP and hodge's numbers are inflated by kick returns. DHP did make some line breaks but hodge was solid without being threatening.

    Springboks v Wallabies - Sunday 2 October 1am AEST - Loftus Versfeld

Spot on. Our backs had little penetration. Kerevi was one of the few who was making breaks and looked threatening. Pulling him prematurely was batshit crazy and seemed pre planned. We struggled to score against England and SAF because we lack attacking threats. We need to inject some pace on the...

Geez foleys clearing kicks still don't exit our half even at loftus.

    Springboks v Wallabies - Sunday 2 October 1am AEST - Loftus Versfeld

He lost me when he threw two rubbish passes for two English tries in two games that were lost by a one try margin. You can't be deficient in your key skills. A halfback with a dodgy pass is as bad a busted prop who can't scrum, a fullback who can't kick, a midget loosie who can't jump, or a...

    Springboks v Wallabies - Sunday 2 October 1am AEST - Loftus Versfeld

That would make sense if there was a better starting option but at the moment there isn't. I'd rather his impact and leadership in the first 50-60mins than the last 20-30.

    Springboks v Wallabies - Sunday 2 October 1am AEST - Loftus Versfeld

I don't think no 2 is wishful thinking. We were pretty unlucky against England and if Foleys goal kicking was as good in that series as it has been in TRC then we would have won a couple of games. This forum would then have a whole different slant. I'm looking forward to the return match at the...

Yeah I agree with your first impression. I'd like to see how Fardy goes now he's had a wake up call. His upside is more than mumms and his work on the ball would be useful with pocock out. Mumm provides good lock/no 6 cover on the bench.

Right on cue KOB. Soon to be followed by surprise when forcefans stats come out. Then some mutterings about statistics not telling the whole story.

I was surprised they still dropped foley back in to the pocket for clearing kicks on a few occasions. Strange decision when there are at least 3 longer and more accurate boots in the side.

To the letter of the law I guess. But I would have not been the slightest bit perturbed if the argies weren't carded if the shoe was on the other foot. It was pretty soft. His left arm actually made contact before his right shoulder and then he turns his body to avoid a head clash. Poor...
