Most flies are fucked if they land on a venus fly trap but 90% of em just fly around it. Just sayin..

And skeletons work rate in defence and ball handling is better?? No doubt options are lacking but if I was an opposition coach I would have a very clear game plan to exploit the scrum deficiencies that occur late in the game when skelton comes on and it would involve scrum penalties followed by...

    Ireland v Australia

Nope - I agree we are struggling for locks with impact, and this deficit is compounded by having a workman like no 8 with a high work rate but who also lacks the impact of a read or vermeulen. I don't agree the answer is to put on a substitute late in the game who puts pressure on our scrum and...

When did we start giving away wallabies jerseys based on future potential? There are deficiencies in his game that may be fixed with good coaching and improved fitness - which will likely take a season or more. Thats what super rugby is for. Its not going to happen on a 6 week tour.

Theres still hope - maybe skelton will just sit on the pines all game looking like an intimidating unit?

Cheiks needs to cut the man love for AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and put him on the bench. He's not a winger. He's a 13, and Kuridrani is a better one. And its about bloody time foley had some time off to practice his tackling. Missed opportunity and there's not that many left to get it right before the big gig next year.

from fox sports - Beale won’t jump the queue of players who have been waiting for their chance on the tour — including centre Matt To'omua — with his only chance to start coming down to an injury or a need to rest superstar fullback Israel Folau. Cheika admits that’s unlikely but has...

I'm sure a handful of school kids would publicly back the class clown if push came to shove but it doesn't mean he's not a disruptive influence with a negative impact on the development of the rest of the group. Actions speak louder than words.

    RWC 2015

Usually only three hookers in a RWC squad, which was the point I was making.Nothing against Charles - just don't think we'll see him again for a while at a national level barring injury. For me the best 6,8,12 are still contentious. as well as the bench THP. Hopefully some bolters come out of...

    France v Australia

At least he never lost to the French. Link had a higher proportion of games v the top two sides in the world than any of the other coaches. I don't think there's much in it to be honest. The only stat that really stands out is the low points for in the deans era. The deficiencies at the moment...

    France v Australia

Interesting that deans had a very defensive midfield with McCabe/Horne and was not far off the best numbers in points against. By the end of his tenure though we couldn't buy a try, and his points scored stats are awful. Now we've rectified our inability to score with an attacking midfield we...

    France v Australia

I like your thinking. My only point of difference would be to give genia a little longer to regain his form. We know at his best he is better than white, and only game time will see him back there. His cameo didn't lose us the game against france, but some of the other deficiencies you have...

    France v Australia

I would rather see 10. Cooper 11. Speight 15. Folau. Folau had an off night by his standard and Cooper is still pretty handy with the boot - the difference in super 15 stats was only 77.2% vs 75.4%.

Charles? Really?? Fainga'a has been close to MOTM in every game he's played since he got the jersey. Don't think we'll be seeing charles again for a while.

    EOYT 2014

Our starting locks didn't lose us that game. Not a strength but not a glaring weakness either. The bench lock, bench prop, and some overall shitful rugby skills across the park were the problem. Its the lottery you get when the french side of the southern hemisphere plays the french..

    France v Australia

Not advocating throwing the baby out with the bathwater but a few things are clearer after that game. 1. End the skelton experiment. His set piece may be able to be fixed but not in time for 2015. Fix it first and then give him a jersey. Don't rely on him fixing it whilst playing for Australia...

Not sure why people are bracketing Cooper with Genia and Phipps with Foley. Combinations are important but I'd really like to see Cooper get a chance to work on a combination with Phipps. The faster ball distribution from the ruck would play to Quades strengths. Shame if he only gets a chance...
