Almost. Its not their fault But lets not go there again...

So you're happy to ignore his last few games and write him off based on a his first international game for back from injury. Yet you support foley who has been solid but not really looked the goods over the whole tour? That seems fair to me.

For now. I think JOC (James O'Connor) and Speight will be locked in well and truly next year. Will be interesting to see what Cheiks does if Cooper has a blinder season in 2015 as he clearly sees QC (Quade Cooper) as a final 20 player in the build up to RWC.

He was a better 10 pre injury than Foley is now, and has shown enough of late in the final 20 to suggest he may be not far off that form. I'm not being at all critical of Foley, but we know exactly what he has to offer. In my opinion Cooper offers more and we had the perfect opportunity to...

Nah, its just about having your best player in each position on the field for the longest period of time.

Careful - you'll have Sully mixing his metaphors again

Fixed. Horne is not an international winger either. Great player, but not the answer on the wing.

How exactly does one operate on a rocket?

Might not have got the outcome we were looking for but a dominant wheel is still a wheel - and it's an indication of a stronger scrum. The NH scrums do seem to be better at getting quick channel ball when they are back peddling without popping or collapsing. Something we should take note of.

If its not the Wobs, I'd be happy with that. Gonna need a few more line breaks and attacking spark than last night to pull it off though. Midfield bombs will be returned with interest by the ABs.

Thats pretty harsh. Will have to watch the game again but the wallabies won a tight head and pulled off a couple of dominant wheels on the Irish feed where the paddys were lucky to get fast ball out or it could have gone the other way. I though the scrum was pretty even but our line out was a...

    Ireland v Australia

For 80mins our forwards were adequate and the backs looked a class above. Our set piece had a points win. For 80mins the paddys did not look threatening and had little more that midfield hail marys (which to their credit were very well placed and executed) That game was ours to win. Shame we...

Fair enough - like hugh jarse I thought the ruling was the direction of the ball (up/down) as a marker for the intention of the action. But I guess if the law in question is deliberate knock on then it has to be knocked on.

I think we went all right against the paddys. Outscored them 3 tries to 2, and neither of their tries were created by line breaks. A bad pass and some poor defensive realignment to leave the kick uncovered cost us badly, but they still made 0 line breaks and struggled to break our defence. A few...

Mr Doug with all due respect to the usual quality of your comments, and your obvious wallaby connections that is pretty half arsed non-apology for a post that was utter rubbish. The time we chose to watch the game has nothing at all to do with how committed a supporter we are or how much we...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

My opinions are more like farts - so hard to hold 'em in and when they slip out it usually results in at least one person leaving the room.

Reckon you could have included AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) as well. He's lost the starting 13 position to Kuridrani for the foreseeable future. With Speight/JOC (James O'Connor) the likely wingers for RWC he's potentially competing with Beale for the utility bench spot. Needs a few blinders to keep himself in the 23 unless Beales...
