    RWC 2015

That wasn't directed at you - I actually agree with a lot of your points. If I was in one of the hotly contested positions I'd certainly rather be in the tahs than one of the other provinces.

    RWC 2015

I don't favour the idea that there is some crackpot conspiracy theory to get waratahs into a wallabies jersey. It would be hard to argue that there will not be a degree of subconscious influence however. And there is no doubt that there is a conflict of interest which the ARU would not have...

    Pocock Arrested

Surely this thread has reached page 8 only because there is no more rugby till Feb. A passionate environmentalist chained to a tractor to raise public awareness for a cause he feels strongly about. Never seen that before. Nothing to see here. Move on.

    England v Australia

Its not all about Cooper, although I do feel he added an extra dimension to the Wallabies attack. I posted my team before the game which had a 6-2 bench split with an extra lock to help cover the recurring scrum deficiencies at the end of the game. Having the backup lock unable to come on at 40...

    England v Australia

Did you read the bit that said "no-one who isn't already injured" Because you've named 6 improvements who are all injured. The point is there are back line improvements sitting on the pines.

    England v Australia

Yep - prob should have won some we lost and lost some we won. Reckon we could play all 4 games again with different results. Its a sign of how little difference there is at the moment.

    England v Australia

Because we have better back line options than those that started but unfortunately no better forward options. Better finishing, or one more try would have won us all four games on tour, even with a beaten forward pack. Edit: Seb V beat me to it

I dunno, they are pretty bloody ugly - best confined to lumberjacks and the occasional wannabe hipster.

    Thats it Folks

Next years gonna kinda suck then... ;)

    England v Australia

To be fair if a change is suggested at the moment there's 50% chance the positional change will invoke a waratah. Its just a numbers thing. I agree it would be nice to set the conspiracy theories aside in the name of finding a way forward for a team thats consistently losing.

    England v Australia

Not surprised at all by that result - a win from England off the back of scrum and maul dominance. Injuries to a few key forwards with early bench replacements amplified the issues that were expected in the last 20. A few positives Horne was better than I expected - lack of pace shown up a few...

Damn you Tomkin. I took your advice and now thats 90mins of my life I'm not getting back!! Thanks for the tip.

    Reds 2015

Exactly how was his character attacked?

    England v Australia

Beale actually looked pretty good coming on against the frogs earlier in the year, in the last 20 in his energiser bunny role. But he has been completely ineffectual since due to the better defensive sides he has come up against. Admittedly if the forwards were crossing the gain line more in the...

    England v Australia

Personally I'd have tomane/speight on the wings. Cooper at 10.Genia on the pines (although not too fussed about white provided he has learnt from that bloody box kick) with Horne for his utility value. And then think about an extra piggie on the bench as this is where this game will be won or...

  17. tragic

    England v Australia

Understandable in the tahs as he is behind AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) at 13 and is quality enough in their roster to command a start. But the wallabies have 5 teams to chose from and there are better wingers elsewhere.

    England v Australia

Not meaning to detract from the exhilarating foley v cooper debate but whats with the penchant for shoehorneing centres into the team on the wing?

    England v Australia

We've had the one horror game we have every year when we look pedestrian - and got spanked by the ABs. We are yet to have the one game where it all clicks and we look like a team that could beat the best in the world. Hopefully that game will be this weekend. Although I'd take a rain check for...

Agreed - it was just a joke referring to the recent thread where someone went nuts on the their/there/they're issue.
