Slipper hasn't been awesome in the scrum (but he's probably as good as Tupou at scrum time), but he's been soo good around the park! You are probably playing Tuttle 70+ minutes anyway, so he can probably do it. Also you've got George Smith (I would have coming off the bench at least for now)...

Izaia Perese! But seriously, he should be good. Daugunu isn't likely to be Wallaby eligible any time soon.

Hooper had one nice read, otherwise was largely anonymous the whole game. They had almost identical run meters, carries offloads etc. Hooper had 12 tackles to Pococks 9. But the big difference Pocock actually hit rucks (and would suck in 2-5 Waratahs by doing so) and would steal ball...

    Rebels 2018

Yeah, I think Melbourn are the sort of team unable to overcome adversity. Or even just endure the adversity. Their first few games it was only after having a significant advantage for a while that they then click into gear. These easy wins gave them a lot of confidence. Then come the Waratahs...

So pretty sure Pocock just showed he's much better than Hooper! And it's his first game. I actually think he might actually be better under the new laws, because it's harder for those random jonny on the spot turnovers to happen.

If you're not playing Hooper at 7 you could justify going with a multitude of alternatives at 6, you aren't locked into a lineout jumping battering ram like Tui. You'd be more justified picking the much improved Hanigan or Korczyck who's been very effective for the Reds. You could even play...

The pressure doesn't necessarily need to be active -- her telling him 'You need to do XYZ for me!' her just working in NZ is going to put pressure on him to move to NZ because she can't really move to Australia.

Yeah, she's likely putting a lot of pressure on him to to move to NZ -- I don't think unreasonably, he could easily work anywhere in Australia, New Zealand or Europe. She can only really work in New Zealand.

I disagree, I think he'd more likely play in the centers or at fullback, but he wouldn't be as dominant on the wing as he was when he was. But that's because he's got a more diverse skill set, the thing with a winger in the NRL is you have one job, put the ball down in the corner no matter what...

I do actually think Simmons best position was 6. Still should be nowhere near the Wallabies Squad but I have hope Tui could be an option at 6.

Another thing I notice about them is they don't like the Waratahs much. :P

Little video with Slipper talking about his 100th cap and what it means to him.

That kind of makes me sad, I doubt that was Rodda's idea, I feel like kid doesn't want to be noticed.

George Smith? He was the most penalised, but if you looked at his production it was off the charts, if you looked at penalties per minute he was actually not too bad, not super but I'd put that down to him adjusting back to Super Rugby.

He's not going to give you as much as BPA or Ready, but he also isn't going to make too many mistakes late in a game. I feel like he's a very safe player, but also doesn't stand out. Over 80 minutes those mistakes can be made up for with superior play, but if you are only getting 5-10 minutes a...

Is he a Sir or a St? Can he be both? Also Lucas would be a question mark for me, but since you have the 6-2 split I agree. Re Mafi, I like him coming off the bench, he's a nice bench player I'd maybe keep him playing from the bench but I agree both BPA and Ready are superior Hookers.
