    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

I think he has to play Skelton in these next two just to see where he might fit in for the Lions series. I'm not sure who drops out as I agree I'd be tempted to name the same squad again, but Skelton also adds a dimension in being a type of player that we don't really have a like replacement for...

Which is good. Competition makes everyone better. Agree that I'd still have him even off his best atm. I'm hopeful that a season at the Tahs working with Bell will be a postive. I never felt like he really settled into the Rebels.

I agree. Tupou is so far off his best atm which is a real shame. I just get this vibe that his heart isn't entirely in it (though maybe thats unfair, just how it appears). Not the same as it was a couple of years back anyway. I look at the hunger when Bell carries and the impact he makes and...

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

We have a genuine Folau style weapon with Sua’ali’i and these new anti-blocker laws. I think we will see some continued improvement in this area. Loved how they used him on the start offs. I agree though. The chases off McDermott's box kicks in particular were not great. We should be getting...

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

I think if I was pushed to pick one it would have to be Ikitau. He cleaned up a few things, made fantastic gainline, setup a number of things and was generally just fantastic in transistion plays. I think his involvements can't be understated. But yes, it was one of those great games where so...

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

I don't think the defensive system or defence in general was necessarily poor. Yes we leaked some tries, but the majority of their tries were from some very astute plays from Smith with a wonderful short kicking game. When they were carrying I thought we were solid and did well to make a mess of...

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

Ok, I'm still buzzing from that game. What a great way to start a Sunday. Was it perfect. No. But so many players stood up. For me Bell and Ikitau were my two players of the match for the Wallabies. Both were immense in so many aspects of that game. I think what I'm most proud of is the team...

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

We have enough body of evidence from watching Donaldson in SuperRugby to say he isn't ahead of Lolesio. The coaches would have even more data and insight to backup their decision, not to mention the combinations I mentioned above. I think some players stocks are higher for not playing and there...

That's nice of Tevita Tatafu to play for both teams :)

Not sure I agree. I think the coaches have this one right. Donaldson and Ikitau have much less playing time together than Lolesio and Ikitau. Not to mention that Donaldson whilst having moments hasn't shown with any of his opportunities that he is a cut above Lolesio.

All Blacks & All Blacks XV EOYT 2024

Well that game had a bit to unpack. I'm not sure that was the best game from either team tonight. I thought Ireland got away with a bit at the breakdown which Berry let go. Some of the entries and slowness to clear out should have been punished earlier and more consistently by him to clean that...

    Australia A matches Northern Tour

Not really surprising when we saw the squad list put out. Can't point to it being the most cohesive bunch. I wonder how much time they've actually had together in preperation. I suspect the squad to face England XV is going to look rather different, especially around the halves. You don't fly...

All Blacks & All Blacks XV EOYT 2024

That's probably the best that the AB's could put on the park (injuries aside). I don't mind the continuity. They need to iron out all the errors. All that said, that's a pretty handy Ireland side. Not too much missing from that team. Loaded with experience.

All Blacks & All Blacks XV EOYT 2024

Here are the highlights from this game for anyone who missed it. Munster got some good pay from their rolling maul and made a good showing of it (considering the odd week they've had with their coach being shown the door), but the ABXV's were just a cut above with a number of long range tries.

November Internationals (excluding Wallabies & NZ)

I always thought a rule preventing you from playing any test against the country you were born in would be an interesting addition :) The idea of Tuipulotu or Hansen etc. potentially being in the Lions squad to face the Wallabies just feels a bit off to me.

November Internationals (excluding Wallabies & NZ)

There has been some complaint from Pacifica teams that they don't get refereed the same. These kind of incidents don't look great in the context of that narrative do they.

November Internationals (excluding Wallabies & NZ)

re: Scotland v Fiji game. Bit of a hard watch with Fiji looking to have improved in some areas but not others. Scotland ran away with it when they were down a player and then another and then things just feel apart in that last stanza when they looked to fatigue. Just the consistency and focus...

November Internationals (excluding Wallabies & NZ)

Well about a third of the Scottish team weren't born there, they're pretty good at scouring the world for potential eligible players. It's probably been the thing that's improved their squad more than anything else in the last decade or so. Duhan Van Der Merwe (RSA), Tom Jordan (NZ), Sione...

All Blacks & All Blacks XV EOYT 2024

There were some rather slow plays of the ball from the 9 I agree. I also feel that they got away with a bit at the breakdown at times. For example that Curry neck roll whilst a foul only occured becaue he was going for the ball with his hands all over the ground. They often flooded the...
