Digby Ioane with suspected broken hand

It was bound to happen. Fatcat aside, our RWC 30 is our first choice 30. We've had an alright injury run so far. This is a massive blow IMO. I think Digby's under-appreciated. He's consistently made meters, made breaks and scored tries. He's also a revelation defending at #10. Not sure if Drew...

    RWC - Wallabies v Italy - 11th September 2011

It's pretty clear the Wallabies game-plan relies heavily on inside balls to the outside backs. O'Connor, Ioane and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) all scored off them.

Brilliant from Quade, Burgess and Digby there! GO WALLABIES

Stupid option from Quade, these Italians are pumped up- look at their reaction to that penalty!

England vs Argentina - Live chat.

As much as I agree with your whole paragraph, they'll pick up their act. They lost 33-0 against SA in the pools but made the final and lost 15-6. That'll serve as a wake up call to them, and although I think we'll still win it won't be a destruction.

G&GR: Player of the RWC 2011

I started browsing through the old man of the match threads and I think that maybe we could do one thread for the best player of the whole tournament. I'll be watching most games so I'll be voting a lot, but for any games you've watched feel free to vote. Just put the game you're voting on and...

    Wallabies vs BaaBaas

I know, but considering SBW/Mortlock, Roberts and Cips are all confirmed I was just trying to fit them all in. I guess Mortlock could line up on the wing, but I doubt that will happen.

    Wallabies vs BaaBaas

I'd love to see Alesana and Manu Tuilagi face up at #11 and #14. Both young, exciting players with a degree of cult status, plus a shot at redemption after the Samoa game would be great. The fact that they're brothers adds to the exhibition nature of the event IMO. 1. Tendai Mtawarira (Which...

What to do with JOC (James O'Connor)?

That's why I used stats from the Super Rugby season. A plethora of different games with different situations that paint a pretty accurate picture of both Fainga'a and McCabe's playing abilities. In both the Test match and the S15 matches McCabe's numbers outshine Fainga'a's. I understand that...

What to do with JOC (James O'Connor)?

I really don't understand the Ant Fainga'a love-fest. It's pretty clear people favour Fainga'a based on his supposedly superior defensive efforts, but I'm beginning to wonder how much of that is due to the attention he received playing outside Quade at the Reds. The numbers from last...

    ONE TEAM - positivity thread

We've won the Tri-Nations, the Mandela Plate and we've won 2 of the last 3 matches against NZ. Surely that's something to be smiling about?

Wallabies Backline for the world cup.

Ashley-Cooper to outside for Fainga'a. He showed last night that he can play the nitty gritty, grinding defensive game but he also adds a battering, slicing attacking edge. That way Mitchell and Ioane can both start.
