If you could change the laws of rugby, what would you change?

I get the shits with the time wasting away at the end of a match my team is chasing (i.e. AUSvWAL on the weekend), but geez I love seeing a knock on up the other end of the field when there's only a couple of minutes to go and my team is defending a slim lead. Swings and roundabouts.

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Uruguay -Saturday October 5 2019 @ 2:15pm

Yep. Only other option was Cooper which was memorable for the fact it made it crystal clear where the selectors viewed Quade on the pecking order. Hodge did start one Test at 10 I'm sure. EDIT: Yep he did. Vs Japan in 2018.

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Uruguay -Saturday October 5 2019 @ 2:15pm

You guys are forgetting that Chieka has already declared our back up 10's as Beale and Hodge. This is classic smoke and mirrors where we feign To'omua as our 10 moving forward and then in the knockout stages out comes Beale or Hodge and boom! England won't know what hit them! Genius! :D

    Worst Commentator Pole Action

Clarkie does my freaking head in. He's just a cliche robot and nothing more these days. It also seems like his hard drive is slowly corrupting and his cliche library is getting smaller each time he is rolled out and booted up.

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

Surprised to see Ken Owens there. He looked not great the other night in the match against Georgia. Bloody good team though. We are going to have to really front up for this.

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

Oof. Not as confident as I was. Can't quite put my finger on it but I'm not that inspired by that team. Hopefully my reaction is unjustified. I've thought for a long while that Foley would be a lot better player if he had any competition whatsoever for his position. Well he's got it now so...

If you could change the laws of rugby, what would you change?

I reckon stop the clock for scrums and all shots at goal. Still give them a limited time to take the kick so they don't fluff around all day but it doesn't come off the game time. But the biggest rule change for me is one that has been discussed a few times before, would be to change the red...

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

We have a longer turnaround and a better prep match. That being said though, I think Wales should be the favourites for this. the Welsh defence looks very tight and our fairly average attack will struggle to score points so when we get the odd freaky half break we will need to capitalise on it...

RWC Pool D: Wallabies v Fiji, Sat 21st September, 2.45pm AEST, Sapporo Dome

Yeah park the parochial crap please or at least keep it to the general Wallabies threads that make it easier to give a wide berth to. This is a match thread. I hope you lot are all just a bit tetchy before the RWC kicks off and you settle down a tad after tonight. This is really depressing...

RWC Pool B: All Blacks vs Springbokke, Sat 21st September, 18h45 , International Stadium Yokohama

Always struggle with who to support in this match up. I probably tend to favour NZ? Chomping at the bit to watch it but. Maybe I don't "support" either and just watch it for the cracking match I hope it will be? Probably a good way to go actually. I think if I'm honest though, I don't...

Yeah sorry, my bad for the post hijack. It's been suitably explained to me now. Back to post captions.

Can someone who does the gym actually explain what Slips is doing in that one? Is that thing he is standing on some sort of band (elastic?) or a frame or something else entirely? And is the bar tethered at the right hand end to another weight? Also, why?

RWC Pool D: Wallabies v Fiji, Sat 21st September, 2.45pm AEST, Sapporo Dome

My wife and I are expecting our 3rd child in 2 to 3 weeks (possibly sooner, who really knows with this stuff). I've always fulfilled the "sit up with the new one to settle them" role as lets face it, in the early weeks when they only really need that and feeding, I'm no good for the other. So...

Because the public holiday is to allow people to attend services etc. Not a celebration like pretty much every other p/holiday? I'm just guessing. Plus, Saturday is pretty much a weekday these days.

    Reds 2020

He still got capped in the Test against the Wallabies (in which he got injured) so he's still presumably an import player now. I imagine he will be able to see out his contract but possibly won't be able to re-sign after that? No idea what the deal is with capped overseas players now but so I'm...

    The Big V

I don't let my normal mechanic do auto-electrical work on my car or service the auto so when it comes time (which will probably be soon) I'll be asking a Urologist to take care of the business.
