2021 Buildcorp Super W Season

The Waratahs women were very impressive on Saturday. I was at the game and their passing through the backs and the firepower on the wings was just too good for Qld. Agree with Reg that Qld just didn't make much of the ball they had and their big players seemed to go down too easily although late in the game we seemed to make some ground. Ivania Wong, when she got opportunities, was a great runner, really quick and moved well. It will have been a good chance for the Qld team to If any of the other teams can match NSW they will be doing very well. Great support for the teams at the ground, good atmosphere.

Mrs Wamberal and I really enjoyed the game, some incredible toughness and skills on offer. We do miss that good young outside back that the Reds had last year or the year before, cannot remember her name, Elisha, or something like that.

Alysia Leafu-Fakaosiliea? She's incredible. With the 7s program now.

Didn't know RA had a president, only knew of the CEO, Chairman and board members, hence the confusion. Cricket and League have a Prime Minister's 11 and 13 respectively. Sorry we aren't all as knowledgeable as you!

The Chairman is part of the Board's governance structure, and plays the key role of liaison between the Board and Members. Hamish McLennen is the current Chair and clearly plays a more hands on role around strategic direction of the game.

The President is more a figurehead role, currently held by former Wallaby captain David Codey. Does a bit more appearance work representing the code at various functions etc.

Those Prime Minister teams are random invitational teams that are largely diplomatic based (in league they basically solely play PNG as part of DFATs 'soft diplomacy' endeavors. In cricket its just a way to get more cricket in Canberra, pushed largely previously cricket loving PMs).

This is a President's team which is just a fill in team of leftovers to build more internal depth in a domestic competition. Nothing of the 'status' of an international team, thus not relevant to the PM.

When I was a youngster the old man told me that is was what Bob Hawke thought should be the test team & it was one of the perks that went along with being PM

Tough for the team, but good to see Force management making right decision for the team.
They continue to impress as a well run outfit who put players etc first.
