This forum used to have some credibility but has now turned into a bunch of padua kids talking them and there mates up. No padua players will feature in the AIC rep teams and the team itself won't achieve any mean feats this season I think it's time these boys stopped talking themselves up and concentrate on avoiding the wooden spoon again

A number of GPS schools have been on the hunt for quality AIC players of late, in particular BBC. I know Lauries lost a few of their guns from their undefeated 13A side earlier in the year, does anyone know of any other confirmed 'robberies'? I realize this is bordering on the scholarship discussion thread, but it's an AIC rugby discussion point for next year's season. I know a lot of schools are reluctant to send kids to trials and rep carnivals now (I.e- Jnr Gold) fearing they might lose a kid.

If that's the case that's extremely sad. Schools like BBC now are just factories who at the end of the day don't care about the individual and is built on "fake spirit". To those kids who get tempted remember this, Ashgrove have produced more Wallabies than BBC and Lauries around the same amount, for all the hype not 1 BBC boy made Aussie Schoolboys this year and the cream always rises to the top. Brad Wilkin started at Iona in grade 8, stayed at Iona all the way through and ended up Queensland Schoolboy rugby player of the year this year. There are boys from AIC schools playing for the Wallabies, Kangaroos, Super 15 teams and NRL teams. Many an AIC boy who has moved across to GPS schools has ended up playing seconds in grade 12 when if they stayed would of been in the firsts in grade 11 and 12, AIC rep teams and had the opportunity to push for further selection.

Tom Allen moved to hooker due to more size/attacking flare.
Not sure of who to put at 9 as I do not believe the 16 A's halfback is up to the job.
Unsure of wingers Open to criticism.

Villanova is arguably the premiership favourites
Unsure of a team prediction although
These characters Will be very dangerous such as Kenric Rotscheid-Felu, Cameron Torpy, Elijiah lui plus 4 returning towards

I heard Elijah Lui benched over 95kg when he weighs only 70kg, not bad for a small bloke.

As a father of a boy who goes to the most expensive and prestigious school (Churchie), I am appalled by the amount of negative comments on this page. I have a nephew at one of the AIC schools and I now understand on how he is such a dropkick compared to the rich and more successful students in the GPS competitions. You poor people make me sick…no wonder why we turn our noses up at the stench of AIC schools. GPS is better because we are better than you and that is because we have more money than you.

Most accurate team list of Iona to date, excited to see this superstar team take the field and light up the competition. However, the main concern for this Iona team is not letting their superstar abilities get to their heads and take other teams too lightly. Then again, with players of this calibre, I can't see that happening.
