Short of some properly Machiavellian backroom machinations, I'd be surprised if Ryan would leave Robertson like that. Also I thought he was already signed on with Fiji for this year and/or next year?

Though it wouldn't surprise me at all if NZR decide to fuck the Blues to save Fosters weaselly hide. Which means they'd probably take Coventry as well.

EDIT: And no mention of Plumtree...
Yep another rumour, though a sensible one as Rangi already doing ABs XV later in year. Jase Ryan makes sense as he is a scrum coach per se and what Feeks job is. Will be inetersted to see how true anything is though.

He's been replaced in Squad by Dickson, he named in it as they think he will be right before Bledisloe tests.

They need to be making that known when the teams are named/ published & I'm fairly sure that in the not-to-distant past it was. That's not on Foster BTW it's on the PR/ media team who seem to be doing a pretty shit job lately.

Ok, well I saw it as part of team naming, same as Lomax and Ennor in covering for a couple of players. this is part of the press release on the All Blacks site. I didn't watch team naming, but saw the extras were named when I looked a few minutes later. I assumed it was on everything, but as I say never really watched it live etc. It was the team named in All Blacks facebook site too.

With Angus Ta’avao, Brodie Retallick and Jack Goodhue making their way back from suspension and injury, the All Blacks selectors have called in temporary cover. Braydon Ennor, Tyrel Lomax and the uncapped Josh Dickson will join the squad for the South African leg of the tournament.

LOL I see Stuff have started locking up comments seeing as their articles are getting 400 replies after 2 hours, ALL of which are scathing of the gobsmacking cowardice of the NZRFU Crime Family.

It's almost as if NZRFU have had a roundtable with the sole agenda of How To Alienate The NZ Rugby Public And Turn People Away From Our Boring Dying Shambles Of A Sport.

"Ok, what would be the WORST things we could do?"
"Not fire Fozzie"
"Done!"
"Not change the losing team"
"Done!"
"Make 1 token change, bring back Crossword Frizzle now that his hand has recovered from beating up ladies in pubs"
"Done and done!"

Boks could pick Ray Mordt and Andre Joubert in the backs and it wouldnt matter a jot. Not like the backs are ever going to touch the ball anyway. Why would they have to? That SA forward pack will steamrollllllll right the fuck over NZ's failed cadre of tenured fatties, creakies and speedbumps.

Bokke to win both tests in a canter.

If NZ even make it into the Bokkes half of the field, everybody drinks.

Sounds like FOZZIE will be taking over as backs coach.

I like the sound of "...Schmidt has a key analysis role and will work with Foster on overall strategy and attack play."

For those who don't know, Ollie Ritchie is a sports journo with Newshub, specialising in Rugby, who appears to have good contacts inside NZR.

Positive move to get Ryan in instead of Plumtree.

Problems still remain with McCleod and of course, Foster himself.

The NZRFU have alienated every existing stakeholder they have - bar Silverlake.

Strangely enough McCleod was already defence coach and part of Razor's preferred coching group when he stood for job.
