Was hoping this would be a tight game at least for 60 minutes. At the moment it's too easy for NZ, but they're not the best in the world for nothing.

Nice try to BSmith off the back of a great Dagg run, 13-0 but looks like the Argies may get one back here for Dagg taking an Argie out. Penalty only, lucky it's not a card.

It bounced in the field of play and then hit the corner flag - 5m lineout.
On what basis?
It crossed the touchline at the try line and was therefore in goal when it went into touch.
An Argie grabbing just befor it crossed the plane of touch and grounded it in goal would have got a 22.

If the ball had've gone back into the field of play after hitting the flag - play on.

Law 22.11(a)
When the ball touches the touch-in-goal line or the dead ball line, or touches anything or anyone beyond those lines, the ball becomes dead. If the ball was played into in-goal by the attacking team, a drop-out shall be awarded to the defending team. If the ball was played into in-goal by the defending team, a 5-metre scrum shall be awarded and the attacking team throws in the ball.

Here's what the IRB says about the corner flags.

1.5 Flag posts

(b) Flag posts must be positioned at the intersection of touch-in-goal lines and the goal lines and at the intersection of the touch-in-goal lines and the dead ball lines. These eight flag posts are outside the in-goal area and do not form part of the playing area.

So looking at that, hitting the flag wouldn't put the ball in-goal as it's not considered part of the in-goal area.
