11-3 at the half to the ponies.

Ordinarily I'd tip the Brums to be the side to have the legs in the final quarter, but all that travel might take its toll.

Tevita uncharacteristic knock on 5m out, after the rebels screw up the second half kickoff.

Rebels then make a meal of the scrum and their number eight knocks on under POwell pressure.

Kuridrani makes no mistake the second time and dots down a few metres from the right post.

18-3 as Hawera adds the extras, 5min gone in the second.

The ball looks very slippery with anything not going straight to the chest looking difficult to reel in. Scrums have been pretty even thus far though.

Alcock then beats 5 defenders from the lineout and with a quick recycle POwell feeds Hawera who shimmies and makes the extra few metres to dot down under the posts. Extras good

25-3 58min gone.

Rebels lose valuable possession and territory pushing offloads, which is understandable but with 20min left they really need to hang onto it.

Fardy shrugs off a few and then offloads for a great piece of play but Godwin muffs an attempted grubber.

Brums nearly in from the restart with Hawera kicking ahead for banks who fly hacks it in field and Meehan has to hack it dead.

The restart sees Speight go close before Ah Wong knocks on.

25-3, 67min gone.

Butler continues the Brumby tradition of back rowers that can put in superb attacking kicks. Speight can't regather and comes off the field, points to his jaw, hopefully that was not what I'm afraid it might be

Koroibete impressive in his ability to stay in the field, flying down the left sideline. Brums earn a turnover, somewhat unluckily for the rebels.

Pretty ordinary game after watching the lions match. It's basically one team that can't play rugby vs another that doesn't want to play rugby. But then again let's blame the dew

Brumbies need 8 more points to reach tomkin's prediction, under four minuites left. That's the only unanswered question.
