The point is that no one, not even the Stormers, are competitive with the Crusaders. The Blues when they are hot are probably their closest competition, but when they are cold they are 30 points worse. The Crusaders loss away was not surprising. The game against the Cheetahs on the other hand.....
Why do you say that? Last time we put 40 past them on Newlands and nothing have change since. We'll see when we meet them again on the same venue.

I have refrained from responding to your rabid blabbering for months but that is a fucking pearler.
I'd agree with Jesus here, it was 3 tries a piece, and while Carter kicked 7/7, the Tahs kicked 1/5.
Split the game into 4 x 20 minute periods, the Tahs absolutely dominated the first, Crusaders 2nd and 3rd, while the 4th was even.

Well said. Seing as the Reds put them away in their last outing, the same can be said for the Reds.

Based on careful watching of the games this year. The Stormers defense has been excellent but except for this weekend they have all been home victories. This weekend was the Bulls and they have not set the town on fire this year. Yet in four games your team has scored but two tries, which normally would have you closer to bottom than top. Watch the Crusaders. They have been clinical in the last two games against two teams in the top half of the table. In the Highlanders game they scored a bagful of tries when the previous week the Stormers scored zero against the same team. Against the Blues in round one they only just lost and played very well. That match is IMO the best game played so far this year.

Its only round five and things may change in another month. But right now the Crusaders look a class above all the other teams. Just like the AB's look a class above every other nation (and I'm not a Kiwi).

The Crusaders look like a completely different bunch this year.

Better personnel and combinatiions in some areas and their defensive lapses from last year have not been seen. It will take a mammoth effort to beat them. In fact right now I can only see the Stormer's with a chance.

While it was 3 tries each the was a huge mental chasm between the teams. Once friend got the intercept try the tags heads dropped and failed to come back up. A late consolation try gave us nothing more than a sniff at a losing bp

WJ is right. 3 trys all.

Yup, it was a moral victory oops I mean draw.

Most honest Tah supporters were pretty much chuffed with the Tahs performance afterwards, the Tahs were so overwhelming in the first 20 that the rest of the game, and the scoreline, didn't count.

i believe most tahs fans were upset with the performance and the lack of percentage when it came to goalkicking. there is no denial. there is no baffling or excuses for last nights game. but its not the end of the world the season isnt a right off. just think, if the tahs cant score against the cheetahs and the reds cant score against the tahs, then the reds are going to get absoluetly hammered.

I wouldn't read too much into the cheaters winning that game. Sorry the cheetahs. The tahs blew a around 4 try's from handling errors. I also think they went into the game thinking the game was there's. Considering the first easy penalty attempt was not taken.

There was a terrible trip on beal after drews cracker run beating 4 cheetahs players. That was really poor reffing but that was about it. The tahs lost that game themselves. No one else too blame. In a way it's going too be a good loss for the tahs. It will not happen again.

I thought pakalani showed some good signs and some bad ones. Give him a year or 2.

The set piece was horrible. I think that's a sign about Australian rugby in general. We need specialist like sharpe. And a good specialist tight head. We put too much emphasis on everyone's running game. Look at world cups. Usually the team with the better set piece will win. You don't see world class props running in try's like we see in Alexander. They do there job and that is too win the ball and let the backs and bAckrow make the line breaks.

This problem starts from school boy rugby. It's going too take a long culture change too fix the problem.

It looks like sharpe is passing down his knowledge well too wykes and hockings and that's the only good thing we have too look forward too in specialist forwards.

Go the force!!!!

Thats probably the problem, no Kiwi team has beaten the Stormers since May 2009, not even the mighty Saders have this kind of a record going.

Any news on our Tin Ears that side? Blue ? They are dangerous when they are that silent and you expect them to lose by 50.
Tried to tell ya , this is what most SA CC supporters (specially the Sharks) know about them. They have this ability to strike when you write them off. Was waiting many a year for them to do the same on tour in SupeRugby.

Those trying to get excuses to ease the Tah pain, no excuse for playing kak rugby and underestimating your oppo.

I wouldn't read too much into the cheaters winning that game. Sorry the cheetahs.

Au contraire. I read a great deal into it. Ask the fans who turned up. I bet they read a bit into it too. Was that the sound of jeers in the crowd, or did my ears deceive me?

Not sure why you call them the cheaters, either. They turned up to play and they won.

The tahs lost that game themselves. No one else too blame. In a way it's going too be a good loss for the tahs.

I beg to differ. The Cheetahs won it. And it was not a good loss for the Tahs. It was a good loss for the Reds.

It will not happen again.

Wanna bet?

Im not calling them cheaters mate it was a spelling error. Should of changed it instead of correcting it after ( auto correct on phone). I said not too read too much into the cheetahs winning not the tahs loosing and it's defiantly a good thing for the reds as they have too be switched on and finish unlike the tahs.

they did loose it like I said they bombed about 4 try's. They lost the game on poor handling errors and if they had of scored a couple at the start which they almost did the flood gates would of probably opened.

I really couldn't care less about the tahs but australian rugby I do.

This loss win make the tahs a better team in my opinion.

The Blues have already done it :)
