kings riverview are really the only contenders to win but joeys 2nd VIII seem to have some potential and scots arent really in it, they are too busy trying to beat grammar and sydney boys

For me at least, as an old Joeys boy, this year's 1st VIII race will be an incredible one to watch. It feels like this race can only go two ways… The favourites, being Kings, led by Rogers, Vs the esteemed Jo boys featuring big names, Basha and Mitchell. In my opinion, Joeys definitely have the oar power to strip kings from their win, however it won’t be easy. Can’t wait to see the outcome for this one. Bring it home Joeys!

Can't rule out Newington's 2nd VIII, lead Kings a whole race only to be pipped at the line for a 3rd place - Riverview still holding very strong over the 2nd VIII field.
