Honourable mention to quade cooper, who was instrumental in getting us on the front foot in the first half, as well as kev and pocock. Strong game from AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper).

So hard to split. Samo and Vickers were immense in the first half.

Pocock had a blinder.

AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)'s defence was incredible.

Genia was everywhere. Rob Simmons should smack him in the head more often.

Genuine team performance. Who didn't have an above average game at the very least ?

Tony Shaw (54)
3. Samo. Now we have an 8 who has physical prescence with Palu as a back-up.
2. Vickerman. Awesome play in tight
1. Pocock. An immense game, shaded McCaw, who was also incredibly good.

Honorable mentions to: Horwill, Rocky, Genia - though his box kicking was awful, Ioane, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and Beale. Overall a great team effort!

My young bloke, a second-rower for the mighty Pirates' Colts Is, pointed out to me how a fellow second-rower in Dan Vickerman had the physical presence to move a ruck when he was belting the ABs in the first half. I couldn't agree more; that's why Dingo's been planning to get Dan into his RWC squad. Please don't get injured, Dan.

Pretty great all round performance.

3-Genia (but fuck his box kicking is terrible)
2-Vickerman (this man is brutal)
1-Samo (see previous answer)

3. Samo - his running and defense were inspiring
2. Genia - again a phenomenal display from the worlds top no 10
1. Pocock

Lots of honorable mentions, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), Fingers for cutting down a 6 on 2 overlap, Vicks and Horwill.
A -1 to Cooper for sidestepping Nonu in defense (again) to allow him to score.

Very surprised by the voting here:
3. Moore (for his consistency)
2. Genia ( for his brilliance but fails to convince me with his poor box kicks)
1. Samo ( for a wonderful effort)

3 Genia - great game, leveraged a pack having a go
2 Vickerman - great game, stepped up & smashed the rucks
1 Elsom - worked his arse off and looking leaner than he has in ages
