I really fancy England's chances to knock off two of Australia, the Boks and the ABs. Rewatching some of their 6N games on YouTube, especially the Wales game at Twickenham, they look like a really strong team heading into 2015. Stuart Lancaster deserves a lot of credit for bringing the team together. Probably unlucky to not win the 6 Nations this year. Won't happen in time for November, but I'd like to see Lancaster give Sam Burgess a run sometime before the RWC (provided he shows form for Bath). Would be an awesome force at 8, or even in the centres with Luther Burrell.

NZ Maori vs Japan in Singapore has been called off due to concerns over the playing surface in Singapore's National Stadium.

No Kane Hames. Can't find any reference to him being injured so presumably he's out of favour which is kinda weird 'cos he was one of our better Super Rugby props. Given he's 26 & hasn't followed The Pathway his shot at the big time may have come & gone.

EDIT: in not entirely unexpected news, "New Zealand Maori have pulled out of their match against the Asia Pacific Dragons due to concerns over the safety of the playing surface at Singapore's national stadium."

Adam Jones is finished, he's been shocking since the new scrummaging laws came in. Wales will be worried their whole game depends on a strong set piece and now they are relying on the Scarlets tight head.

Surprised that Paddy Jackson has been left out. Ian Madigan is obviously in there as utility cover. Hoping for Olding at 13 but I suspect will see Payne for 2 games and Henshaw for 1.

Just back from a trip to visit the family, went back to Kingsholm for the first time in a while - a bloody great game against the tigers but Twelvetrees came off early so didnt really get to see him. Eastmond would be starting 12 if fit anyway.
Seems a few Exeter boys have missed out due to being at a "smaller" club but May looks like he could score a few if he gets the chance.

Saw the ABs will be getting a new jersey for the EOYT. Will they clash with the Scots during their game, and if so, will they be wearing a white or a grey away strip? Or do the Scots have to change jerseys?

NZ Maori have a one-off tour jersey, AFIK the AB do not.

Last time we went to Murrayfield the Scots rocked up in this fetching number:

Guessing something similar will happen this time around.

This is the NZ Maori jersey:

The bottom half has an Asian-themed design, very angular c.f. the curves of the top half. Obviously designed prior to Singapore getting the flick or they'd have just gone for something specific to Japan, one assumes.

And WTF are Scotland doing in red? What next, England in black (lol)?
