Got to agree with the Chair here, the 10 slot is very much in the air. Fowler, Rodwell and Bassingthwaighte all in strong contention. As for Captains, I think it’s more likely that we will see the more experienced Lavercombe be the Captain over Fonua or Fenwicke. Can’t disagree with the others however.

More experienced? Fonua played 1xv last year on the undefeated side, and is the only returning member of the team, however is in year 11 which will limit his opportunity to be the Captain.

Agreed. I we would be much more likely to see Charlie Baker a Captain, due to Fonua being in Y11. I believe it is in tight contention between Izzy and Baker however, Baker might just be a bit more suited to the position.

there is so much talent on show this year, I'd say most positions can be played by a few different boys. I just hope they choose and reward boys on their efforts this year, in particular during the 10 rounds played (although from memory they choose half way thru).

For loosehead prop, I have no clue, all I know of are some Scots boys such as Joel Jacobs or possibly Tom Duddy. I am not sure of any others from other schools. I'm a bit how ya going on Fittler, will have to wait and see how he goes.

Also, I personally think Brial is better in the lock, but I guess they can't not have Heinz or Justice in the team so he might have to suck it up
