Thinks St Pats are underlooked

2 of their players next year will play their fourth year in the 1st XV (Alex Conti and Mitch Woods)

Yes, but i was trying to create 3 evenish pools. I think they will go better than they usually do next year. But will struggle against powerhouses like Scots, Shore, Waverley.

Any thoughts on having a three division comp between CAS, GPS and ISA.
Not trying to be rude, but if you think about it, teams like Aloys or Cranbrook, would stand nothing against teams like Kings had this year or Joeys last year. Just would be unfair. Would need to have EVEN pools, and the winner of each pool plays eachother. I guess then you'd most likely see the winner of AAGPS win the whole thing. But would still be fun.

A 7's comp would be fun, just like the one Scots hosts but have it just the CAS, GPS & ISA teams. Maybe then it might be a bit more fair. Fast-pace games, great talent. Wouldn't hurt to try it?

7's is a great idea you could make it a 3-day comp. The Div 1 Div 2 would also be cool and have a relegation/promotion structure a bit like the EPL.

Hi guys,

Anyone have any inside information at Joeys about teams next year? Hear they have some good young talent brewing on their paddocks, want to get familiar with some names.

Cheers, FF (Folau Fainga'a)

Are you recommending that this comp would replace the current GPS, ISA and CAS structure or have it as a tournament or post-season comp?
The GPS comp is pretty robust. These days the Gap between 1st and last is minimal, even in a year where 1 team is dominant. The schools mostly have reasonable depth in teams. It really would be a detraction from GPS to include a school like Barker in particular because they have very limited depth outside of the opens program. Of course if you believe the only thing that matters is 1st XV then you will violently disagree with me but the reality is that the GPS has vibrant 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade comps. most age groups go to at least d's and many schools go much deeper than that. There is also a lot of ancient friendly and not so friendly rivalries unsettling all of that to assist some back ended programs would be kinda dumb.

they always have good talent brewing, the list of names will be too long for you to remember.
