Do we think that Kings stand a chance against Shore this weekend?
If it makes you feel better, I had a pie at Stirling Bridge last week, and despite the previous glowing reports on this forum to the contrary, it was stone cold and tasted vaguely of mutton. As someone who works on the bbq and occasionally canteen this is sadly true on the food front for TKS. Needs a lot of love.
Think you may have got the bad one out of the batch, I also lucky enough was able to treat myself to the last pie in stock, and was totally satisfied, fulfilling my moneys worth. If it makes you feel better, I had a pie at Stirling Bridge last week, and despite the previous glowing reports on this forum to the contrary, it was stone cold and tasted vaguely of mutton.
The cold, hard truth is that every school is buying their pies from the cheapest, or next to cheapest, supplier and reheating them with questionable skill.
Probably not.Do we think that Kings stand a chance against Shore this weekend?
Makasini has been picked in the NSW under 19 Origin squad which starts training this weekend. I doubt he will play many more GPS games this season.
Probably not.
Then again, no one thought they were going to beat Newington.![]()
Thats his older brother " Hokafonu Lemoto " not " Heinz Lemoto "Interestingly Lemoto is selected too....even though he has committed to French rugby. The game is on June 19 - its a one off, so they may miss this week but will be back possibly after the winter holidays. Still no clear communication about whether Makasini is injured or the school aren't selecting him tbh
Most likely not as i have been to the past two kings games they don't seem to have the power in my perspective.Do we think that Kings stand a chance against Shore this weekend?
From my understanding he won't be at school training throughout the week but will play on the Saturday for New. They fly back down on the friday morning i believe. So might be a little tired or sore but should be playingI saw Makasini has been picked for 19's origin. Does anyone know how this will affect his schoolboy rugby?

Yep, couldn’t agree more, you’ve nailed it. The confusion around the yellow vs straight red just shows how messy the whole process was. A second yellow would’ve made sense, but a suspension feels way too harsh. The Lemoto situation only makes the inconsistency even more obvious; if there’s no ban there, it raises serious questions. And maybe Bowen didn’t get picked back then because he missed so much of Year 11 and part of Year 12 , but that just makes it more frustrating when politics seem to influence selections over actual talent. It’s the players who work hard that end up paying the price for all this.WOW!
to say that I was utterly shocked after hearing the riverview five eight lost his appeal is a understatement. I've seen alot of people on this forum who were under the belief that it was a cumilation of two yellow cards that prompted the red when infact it was a yellow card followed by a straight red crad. this speaks volumes to how soft the penalty was. I am 100% in agreeance that he should have recieved a second yellow but a suspension just seems way to far. looking at that and Lemotos' shot on joeys no.14 I am dumbfounded as to which one will be missing this weeks game. Does anyone know whats happening with Lemoto, because if he does not take at least one week of I would become very suspicious as to which school dominates the political end of the AAGPS! Pondering this question Makes me think back to 2021 when Conner McCullen (Scots College) was chosen over Jack Bowen (St. Ignatius College)(now starting 10 for the Waratahs) in the GPS 1XV! It is sad to think that some people may way to use their power to sway results at the detrement of young men and their hard work.

He has made the 20 man squad, but i am assuming the starting team will be finalised after our throughout their camp.Do you know if he's starting or on the extended bench?
Don’t know that I’d be defending that tackle, regardless of card or intent. It was late, high, and no arms. And the winger got knocked out cold.

Yes I remember the McMullen selection ,politics in sport is and will always be a problem (more so in school age participants) I think everyone was surprised apart from selector/s who perpetrated this decision !WOW!
