yeah I have heard that, although as someone who dosently usually opp for a pie on Saturday I will be not arguing with a wall on what schools makes the best pies, or arguing at all for that matter .@thehammar

@Electrobro 2.0 how did Scots 3rds go?
"Out enthused" are the words way to sum up this game, I was watching from the road above as I'm still prohibited from accessing the Scots main oval. I observed a Scots team that was extremely frustrated and annoyed at what they believed to be some questionable reffing, although my thoughts on the reffing on the match is irrelevant, One of the many young ladies that I was speaking to on Saturday also seemed to be quite annoyed with the officiating. However the kings boys graced the field with some great energy which came off the back of 7 consecutive penalties given to them. They were on par with the Scots boys and played beautifully through the hands, ultimately winning the game by a close margin.

Regardless it was a great day off footy and was a pleasure to watch.

Leave Francis at 13 and move the JC back 15 so there is spark and a clearance kick of size and accuracy ! Hard to exit the 22 of late without the boot - it’s been a challenge the backline - they even had on kid play 15 who has hardly kicked his entire school career - he ran it back bravely but was a converted centre playing wing and then 15 now sadly was injured last week. Not sure Francis has the kick of JC either. Glad to see the planned 12/13 combo as listed. Let’s hope for a dry track too !

Yeah confirmed will be a pretty average turn out for Riverview as a result of the boys simply not being let out until 3:30, unless they are Year 12s with a free period

Every Joe boy is dragged out to the games, but I would say 2/3rds of the boys couldn't care where they were.
Probably true, the majority probably don’t care where they are, they support their school with enthusiasm regardless of the games location. It’s part of the school culture.
Some probably hate it but it is made clear from the outset that it is not negotiable and if you don’t like there are other schools.
Some of the parents probably struggle from time to time as well but still a remarkable number watching.

Fear not, the View boys know better than anyone how to get out of class early. Light the beacons and they'll go.
Flashback to 2023 long weekend round, Riverview vs Shore at the bridge. Shore had majority of the school turn up (more than a usual Saturday game) but Riverview had a small crowd that consistent of only year 12. This is result to a 3:30 end, but hopefully Riverview makes some choices and get a decent crowd going. GPS games are always better with two schools with a packed crowd.

They always travel to away games in numbers the viewboys, it would be a real shame to see that be restricted tomorrow. I guess only time will tell however and we will see tomorrow.
