Is Daugunu injured? I thought he was dropped this week for penalties - surely if healthy he’s back playing club rugby. Filipo has never shyed away from running out in clubland

Yeah, surprised not to see Daugunu given the rest of the Reds non-match day squad seems to be playing - including Sula-Siaosi named to back up off the bench for Souths.

Not sure it's Wests foxing given guys like Ripley, Aedo Kailea and Jooste for UQ or Fourie for Souths haven't been named either.

Whiteside is a starter at Wests. He has started basically every game he is available for.

He's been dropped as a wake up call obviously. Wests have lost their last two games, and been unimpressive in both.

The SANZAAR Foul Play Review Committee has accepted a guilty plea from Sef Fa'agase of the Queensland Reds for contravening Law 9.13: A player must not tackle an opponent early, late or dangerously, after he was Red Carded during a Super Rugby Pacific Match at the Weekend.

Fa'agase has been suspended for 3 weeks, up to and including 7 April 2023.

Phransis Sula-Siaosi and Taj Annan were withdrawn by the Reds. Too many minutes played on Friday night, apparently. Kalani Thomas and Mac Grealy were OK, apparently. The Magpies played well again. Gutsing out an important win. Freshen up over Easter and then away to GPS, then the bye. Souths(after only two rounds) leading the Club Championship.
