Rebels 2022

The recent trend for looseheads has been towards big bodies props, technically it’s a less demanding position when compared to right head also.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Pone makes the shift to loosehead, I think it would be better for the Wallabies also with Sio’s form sliding the past couple of years.

I see what your saying but I think the other side is stitched up till slips decides to hang them up. Pone has a league back ground & basically only started packing down a few years ago & you can see how raw he is in some moments maybe just leave him focus on TH.

For what its worth I actually thought in 2020 Cam Orr was very unlucky not to be in the wider squad for the RC then last yr our S&C guys didnt help with 3 props going down with soft tissue inj's on the eve of the season. Hopefully he can have a full pre season & then by the end of super rugby get himself in the discussion again.

Can you actually believe we are talking about getting props ready for 3rd string? 5 years ago we were scratching our heads to find bench players in this country

Either the Rebels have stopped emailing stuff or I have inadvertently started blocking their email as the last time I received an email from the was on 23rd December. Anyone else?

On the 10th we have a trial at quins (bit far for me to go on a thu night) but then we have a trial of our A team up at albury on the sat & the girls on the pitch next to it at the same time. That Might be a good weekend away!

Will be interesting how we select the sides do we got with an almost full strength on v the drua on the thu or a some fringe players then opening up a chance to give the players right at the bottom end of the squad an opportunity v the Brumby Runners that may well have a wallaby or 2 playing.

At the moment the Tahs, Brumbies, and Reds don't have a major sponsor. Well done Rebels, at least they have someone on board.

The asking price might be too $$$ but not a good look for the established teams, don't know if the Force have one

Is Ebury another opaque unknown hedge fund linked to our CEO that may or may not be insolvent in a year?
Ebury is a financial services company, specialising in international cash management solutions including cross-border payments, FX risk management, and business lending

At the internal trials over the past two weeks, Harvey Beef was again the front of jersey sponsor, last year they were also for the Super Rugby Au section, with Tribe Tech taking on the front of jeresey for the Trans Tasman portion for 2021

Yeah between them, the force, MP (Moana Pasifika), drua, Blues, Waratahs, it’s all getting pretty blue.

Is Ebury another opaque unknown hedge fund linked to our CEO that may or may not be insolvent in a year?
I would assume as much that doch at brc had a major hand in securing it.

who knows it might just be a super round 1 off jersey

Harvey Beef is owned by Twiggy also and sits within Tattarang along with the Force, not sure if it’s a place holder or an actual sponsorship.
