West Harbour v Sydney University - Uni by 15-20. Pirates to fade after oranges.

Manly v Eastern Suburbs - MMM by 20+. MMM too good across the park. Beasties rebuilding is still a Work in Progress as the designs are still with council for DA approval.

Warringah v Parramatta - Rats to sneak home by 5 points, without a bonus point. 2 Blues to get a BP.

Northern Suburbs v Southern Districts, 50/50 but I'm going for the Hobbits with a late try to win by 3 after trailing all game. (game of the round)

Gordon v Randwick, Wicks by 20+. Highlanders still licking wounds from last weeks capitulation.

Penrith v Eastwoood, Woodies by 20. Penrith to fade after initial shock and awe, but there will not be a Lay Down Sally performance from the Emu's..[/quote]

Im tipping Wests to topple Uni.

^^^ ... ... ... and some have questioned the ability of Manly to win by 20+ given the forecast miserable conditions here. The weather isn't all that horrid but warm, dry and sunny, it is not.

Nearly to my script at North Sydney Oval, but the Shoremen sneak home with a 16-12 victory after Hobbits fail to cross the chalk in the last couple of minutes.

The defensive effort from Norths was very good. Few penalties given away. Will Miller was dynamite while he was on and his replacement Sinclair gave nothing away. James Cunningham, Norths number 4, must have made upward of 20 tackles easily. Well done Shoremen.

Missed 4s and only saw the second half of 3s.
Rocked up and their line was still yet to be crossed.
2nds were very strong across the park, caused havoc with the Easts scrum, and had good body height and go forward in the forwards. Over 900kg forward pack was read out over the speaker (BIG FRONT ROW), and the loosies were all over the place.
Very smart back line in 2, Vaevae alternated with Greer to great effect.

1ns very dominant game, the only points leaked were from something strange on the other side of the paddock. Looked like a donation from high up in the saucer. With no Gower, and Manu going off injured early, the forwards adjusted quickly.
Matty Lucas was very sharp from half.
Harry Bergelin was everywhere in support - another 3 try's.
Brian Sef would have to be one of the best defensive outside backs in the Shute.
Wet track so our kicking game had to be on the money, and plenty of meters were chewed up, and a good defensive line always followed.

Warringah got another bonus point win after they finished over the top of Parramatta 36-24 in a night game at Rat Park.

It was a cracking game considering the conditions and both teams have to be congratulated for the way they entertained the patrons and for the good rugby spirit they demonstrated.

Club rugby is alive and well in Sydney.

The Rats won in 2nd Grade as well — 40-15.

Lucas and Bergelin have been stand outs so far .Treweek if he had any doubts must be loving his move to MMM's. Also Porecki continues to impress .
