Another "interesting" fact I have noticed is the use (or non-use) of the bench by some clubs.

Rats on several occasions have finished the games with the 15 players they ran on with. From time to time other clubs have only used 1 or 2 players from the bench.

I wonder how many Waratahs not in the Wallaby squad will be allowed to play for their clubs while the French tests are being played.

Coogee Oval had about 3000 - great atmosphere. Was thinking the same - seems to be a great following this year.
The weather has got to have something to do with it. This sun is better for the spectators comfort and the players' handling.

Was interesting seeing Eastwood leaving Shanin Proctor on the field on the weekend with a crook shoulder? It clearly seemed to be affecting his pass, did they not have a suitable 9 on the bench? Especially as the game seemed to be wrapped up with a while to go

That was a bit odd FTS. Max Page has a good pass so I don't know why they took so long to put him on. They do strange stuff at the Woodies!

with the competition at the half way mark, am already hearing rumblings that "under performing" clubs already looking to make changes to coaching staff in various grades for next season. Could some colts coaches be moving on up? Could some well credentialed first grade coaches be moved on? Will be interesting to see who goes where.

Sorry but you sound like Growden by not providing anything other than a wild rumour that could involve half of club rugby coaches.

From last seasons form and what I expected this year, in my opinion, nobody is really under performing.
Perhaps Souths and Uni, but with the change in this years squads and not getting super players released I think its harsh to criticise too much.
Everyone has had a blip against someone, Marlins and Rats excepted in regards to results.
The rugby on show has been great this year and players/squads are developing nicely.

Yes the 3T is a great comp, and has allot of aspiring players wanting to step up.

Big day down at Manly Oval on Saturday;
Sir Roden Cutler Shield, & Club Championship points.
Eastwood made a statement last week, and no doubt Manly wants to avenge the loss in last years semis.
This year the clubs only clash once in the draw, no second chances in the second round.
