HT: Canada 19-7 NZ. Hirayama carving us up & DJF looking like a cart horse out there after being everywhere & in everything yesterday.

FT: Canada 26-14 NZ. We didn't deserve to win that but FFS that YC on Dickson was just rubbish & couldn't have come at a worse time.

Absolutely brilliant game by the Australians, missing Jenkins and Stannard they still beat South Africa. Some big upsets alriund... when was the last time one of New Zealand, South Africa or Fiji didn't feature in the semis?

Challenge Trophy SF:

Scotland 31-12 France who were down to nine fit players
Wales 19-14 Samoa

The gaps in the coverage are starting to give me the shits esp as there's literally nothing being shown on Sky's pop-up channel, just what amounts to a screen-saver.

Fifth place SF:

South Africa 19-14 Fiji
New Zealand 24-21 Kenya, winning try scored two min after the gong & with Kenya a man down.

Wow this American team is on track to being worlds best in a few years. Barrett, Baker and tomasin are great players

I think your blokes will go alright, too, average age of ~23 & that's with Stannard.

And another frustrating wait until the next batch of games............

The Yanks' style matches up well against the Aussies. They physically bashed us.

And obviously losing so many of the restarts meant our lads defended all game.
