It's a very strange decision.

It would mean that Donaldson gets a test bench position (even if Carter is budgeted for 80 minutes there has to be some kind of cover for him on the bench) and starts against the lessor sides - as Sir Humphrey would say, that is a brave move

Ikitau's injury has to be worse than stated, he is our most reliable/best back by daylight - I can't see why you wouldn't have him in the squad othewise
