maybe, he heads off to japan in mid novemberSo I know he's not available this year, but Noah has was the incumbent in the position and nobody has put their hand up for the spot. Does Lolesio play next year?
Sad day when taking Robertson over slipper is 'focus on the 27 world cup)Interesting listening to the KOKO show interview with Slipper. Definitely reads like he'd happily play this Spring Tour but because Joe wants to focus on RWC'27 they've agreed (or Slips has been told) it's time to retire.
Also that his least fun season was the 2023 RWC campaign. From the training, stress, results etc. etc. Said it was awful and didn't want to return to rugby after that campaign. Fuck it sounded miserable.
The England test is still outside of the window, so there's not really any room to bring guys like Staniforth and Sio in to cover these injuries. They may come into play if there are others or anything long term, though I doubt Staniforth is much of a chance, particularly with Hooper and Skelton likely to be available at the same time.Good news for Wallabies depth if they decide to call on them is Sio and Perese both returned to playing this weekend. Perese in particular was in great form. JO'C continues to go well.
I know they've called in Swain now but I would love Tom Staniforth looked at. Multiple player of the season for Castres, which was NCdC's team as well. Much more valued by the fans than Nic w
Wilson doesn't really punch into and through the line. He hits it and recycles the ball quickly.Swain has been playing good footy lately and was very good against Japan A. Our lineout will be top notch, but we do lose a ball runner without LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto). Valetini is still working his way back to top form, but hopefully with Wilson and Paisami punching into the line we have enough go forward.
Will be interesting to see who starts at Loosehead. Bell has added a lot off the bench and that second half lift will be very important. Ross doesnt really add that.
He's been a lot 'punchier' in recent Tests tbh - more emphasis on leg drive through contact rather than the quick drop and recycleWilson doesn't really punch into and through the line. He hits it and recycles the ball quickly.

Agree with most of this Homer but Wilson and Paisami combined are not as important to the Wallabies as Valetini.Swain has been playing good footy lately and was very good against Japan A. And nothing more than a hard stare and a "good day to you sir" if any miscreant pulls your hairBring in Swain....Tell him we want him to be driving over the Ad line and winning lineouts for the England game.
