It's actually not too bad compared to other years, though Wright and McDermott are big losses from our best 23. The dual Salakaia-Loto and Canham injuries from the weekend don't help either, but they're hopefully short term. Robertson might also be out for a week or two, given he went off with an HIA. It might be a good time to call in Scott Sio if he is out for a bit, though I think Bell and Ross are a very good pair on the loose head side.

Good news for Wallabies depth if they decide to call on them is Sio and Perese both returned to playing this weekend. Perese in particular was in great form. JO'C continues to go well.

The England test is still outside of the window, so there's not really any room to bring guys like Staniforth and Sio in to cover these injuries. They may come into play if there are others or anything long term, though I doubt Staniforth is much of a chance, particularly with Hooper and Skelton likely to be available at the same time.

Swain has been playing good footy lately and was very good against Japan A. Our lineout will be top notch, but we do lose a ball runner without LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto). Valetini is still working his way back to top form, but hopefully with Wilson and Paisami punching into the line we have enough go forward.
Will be interesting to see who starts at Loosehead. Bell has added a lot off the bench and that second half lift will be very important. Ross doesnt really add that.

Wilson doesn't really punch into and through the line. He hits it and recycles the ball quickly.
I think they really need guys like Pollard and Valetini with leg speed to put the head down and go this week. Once these guys are slowing you have Bell maintain it. Paisami, Jas and Piestch need to be as physical as possible.
I'd want Pietsch looking for hit ups off the 10 to get momentum going. He's got a great knack for getting the bumpers up and maintaining his feet in contact for those extra meters that get defences going backwards and either leaving them offside or not allowing them to defend off a set start which then often results in a crap mid field kick.
