There’s no clear standout of who is going to play IC next year, and if we are going to have a rookie 5/8 we need an experience player at IC. He is perfect for a quick fix for a season or two provided he comes at the right price

Disruptive influence he could have on a young peer group would be the biggest concern, it's not the first time JOC (James O'Connor) has said he has changed.

I get that. I am actually based in Brisbane and a member of the reds. I saw his 2015 season and he was pretty good. He got bagged so hard for everything that happened with that team (especially that kick against the sharks) but he busted his gut on the paddock. His biggest crime since then was hanging out with Ali Williams (who gave him a bump) and some bad haircuts.

Careful, that is an offensive word.

But why not? He has kept out of trouble for a good while. Tahs don't mind taking reformed bad boys.

A good while? How long ago was he busted for blow in Paris with Ali Williams? Oh, wait, 2 years.
But actually seriously, that really doesn't bother me so much - I'm sure plenty of players have done it and never been pinged, and if he has learned, great. More concerning is his apparent malign effect on team culture. I don't think he is worth the punt, personally.

Yes that kick.. Still not as bad as nearly punching on with your own team mate at halftime because he didn't pass you the ball

Who did that?

I'd love to believe JOC (James O'Connor) was reformed and could value add to an Super Rugby team, but I just don't think it's worth the risk.

If Hunt was worth the punt JOC (James O'Connor) definitely has value in the punt.

Somehow, I see some of his twitter or Instagram and he is trying to market himself as reformed and now completely balanced and at one with the world.

Well, he is a pro rugby player, with no other likely employable skillset, who doesn't seem to have a job, so I would expect him to be marketing himself well.
Good on him, if he is truly reformed. I don't think anyone has ever doubted his talent.
Sadly, I just think he is potentially a liability.

Waratahs set to sign Tepai Moeroa from the Paramatta Eels, intend to use him in the centres which means Karmichael will get culled.

Tahs will be down a centre though. Fuck it?

Tepai has had a number of concussion issues at Parramatta. Absolute unit though and looked the goods in his schoolboy days, hopefully he picks it up again quickly.

Hope he can learn to pass well, he kind of relied on steam rolling over people and offloading at schoolboy level. But like Kerevi or Nonu when they were young

I think his stocks have fallen a fair bit in the NRL, so I think he is now within the budget of the Tahs, he looked like a future star in his first few years in the NRL, but the last two he has struggled to dominate
