He’s a good guy off the field. Amount of work he does with indigenous youth in Sydney is impressive.

Prior to the Angus sitting out of the first half of the NRL season and the subsequent bipolar diagnosis there were some party rumours getting about.
In whatever case, it’s up to RA to conduct due diligence on all signings, and ensure that if individual have unique circumstances when they sign them that RA have right support networks in place, especially in cases of mental health if they’re looking to sign a player to a team outside their current home.

It is quite funny the Chairman keeps pulling these strings (allegedly) and they've made this whole show about aligning the national systems to the super rugby teams etc. but they're out recruiting for blokes that no one really knows about yet?
I understand that in rugby playing for the Wallabies is the ultimate prize, but it still seems quite backwards to me that recruitment wouldn't at least involve the team they're wanting him to play for. You'd never see a NRL team recruit someone because the QLD maroons coach asked them.
Now of course it might come out that the Rebels or Force are actively engaged here. But I feel like recruitment being driven from the top down is a poor reflection on the state of Super Rugby.
